This Curt overbed gooseneck hitch is ready for serious towing. With a gross towing weight rating of 30,000 lbs and a vertical load limit of 7,500 lbs, it gives you the muscle to handle big equipment, livestock, or heavy RV trailers without flexing under pressure. The steel hitch ball and the sturdy design give you a dependable connection that stays tight and solid when the weight is on.
When you’re done towing, you can have your truck bed clear again in seconds. Pull up the door near the ball, pivot the 2-5/16" ball down into the housing, and close the door over it for a flat bed surface. The easy-to-grab T-handle lets you raise or lower the ball even if you’re wearing work gloves. You get full use of your bed for gear or materials without having to remove any hardware.
The included installation kit is built specifically for this hitch and designed for a bolt-on mount — no welding required. You can assemble the cross arms to the gooseneck assembly outside the truck bed to get the spacing right before final install. Two U-bolt safety chain loops come with it, and every piece is finished in carbide black powder coat over steel for corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
A stainless steel safety pin and pivot spring inside the folding ball help prevent binding when raising or lowering it. The T-handle mechanism is straightforward to use from inside the bed, so there’s no need for a second person to fold or unfold the ball once it’s installed. It’s a simple, tough setup that keeps your connection secure every time you tow.

Thank you for your review. I would remove the elements when not in use to further the life span. Also, the hitch ball needs greased before each use. Any rust should be sanded and covered with anti-corrosive paint.
