Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Taylor Made marine gas strut for your boat hatches. This is a 36 inch long gas strut, that will replace one worn or damaged strut on your boat's hatch. It does have a compression force of 50 pounds. So it is going to help to ease the strain of lifting your hatch when you're extending it.
It's also going to help compress gently so that you're not gonna slam your hatch down, potentially catching your fingers or little ones or gear in there causing damage or injury. It does install with a ball socket installation. So this is a 13 millimeter ball socket. So it will attach to your 13 millimeter ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. This is a heat treated steel construction.
So it is gonna be very durable. It's got this corrosion resistant coating on it that's going to resist rusting. So even if you're in saltwater environments, this will hold up really well for you. So if you are needing a 36 inch long gas strut with a 50 pound compression force, this is gonna be a great option for you. If you need a different length or a different compression force, we have lots of different options available here at etrailer.com.
So be sure to get the one that's gonna work best for your situation. Thanks for watching..
