Michael: Hi there I'm Michael with e-trailer.com.Today, we're going to take a quick look at the TaylorMade gas strep for your vote hatches. This is going to attach to a 10 millimeter ball stud on both sides. It's got the 10 millimeter ball socket there. This is right at 10 inches from the center of one ball socket to the center of the other. So, it will attach to your boat hatches and allow them to stay open when you're hitting waves and those sort of things. And, then will be allow for a soft close to your hatch so that you don't have to worry about it slamming shut, and catching your fingers or other items in there that could cause damage or injury. And, then when you're ready to open up your hatch, that's going to give you that assistance to open that up. So, does provide 20 pounds of compression force.

So, not so much that it's going to be difficult to close your hatch, but enough that it will prevent it from closing on its own and be very easy to open back up. This is constructed of a heat treated steel construction so it's going to be very durable. It's got a corrosion resistant coating on it to help prevent any rust and corrosion, even in saltwater environments. If you're going to take your boat out on the ocean, and this is still going to hold up well for you. This does come with just the one strep so depending on your setup, you might need a second one, but you do want to make sure that you need the 10 millimeter ball sockets that you need 10 inches of distance. And, another thing to note, you can see that our ball sockets are straight on and there's no angle to them whatsoever so make sure that that's going to work for your application as well. That's going to complete our look for today.Again, I'm Michael with e-trailer.com.

Thanks for watching.
