Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the safety chains and the rail anchors for your Curt Crosswing 5th wheel. Now, this 5th wheel safety chain anchor assembly will provide a nice solid backup connection between your truck and your 5th wheel trailer. This kit is designed to work with the rail-mounted Curt Crosswing hitch that fits all industry standard 5th wheel rails. And if you're not familiar with that Crosswing hitch by Curt, I popped up an insert just to show you what that Crosswing looks like. If you look at the top, you can see the head where the 5th wheel attaches, this is where this bracket would attach to.
And then you'll notice the legs that have the tabs on it, that'll go into the rails that are in your truck bed. Now, this part will include the safety chain bracket right here, the chain assembly with the latch hooks, has the latches on it. It comes with the two anchors right here you can see that have the tabs that'll drop into your rails, and then it comes with the pins and clips that'll hold these anchors in place on your base rails. Now, as I mentioned, the safety chain bracket here has the bolts on it that'll bolt onto your trailer side Crosswing headpiece, and then the hooks right down here on the other end, these will connect to the rail anchor loops that are in the rails. Basically, these anchor loops, as I mentioned, they install into your 5th wheel rails with the included pins and clips, and then once they're installed, you take your hook, attach it right to there, and you can see how it latches, the latch holds it in place.
What's nice about the hooks are these anchors here, they have nice wide openings, so you can see it accepts these heavy-duty clevis hooks. And then to detach it, just pull the latch back and unhook it. Now, these do have a durable carbide powder coat finish and a rust resistant A-coat finish on the anchors and on the bracket right here, and then if you noticed the chains and the hooks, have a nice yellow zinc plating on them, which makes it rust resistant. Total length on these chains, if we measure from here to the center of the hook, is about 32 inches long. Does come with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how this all hooks up.
But that should do it for the review on the safety chains and the rail anchors for your Curt Crosswing 5th wheel.

Works with rail-mounted CrossWing hitches and fits all industry-standard 5th wheel rails.Bought these for my curt crosswing that i used once, i decided to go with a geny gooseball not that the crosswing was bad but cause my reese fifth airborn pin box didnt sit right in the crosswing due to the pivot point. I was able to reuse the chains and eyelits with my new setup as they mount on my isr and they are heavy duty i got no complaints
Works great with the Curt Crosswing 5th wheel hitch. Easy to install and gives you piece of mind when towing a 5th wheel trailer.
