Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at a TeraPump Battery Powered Fuel Transfer Pump for Gas Cans and Racing Utility Jugs alike. Folks, this is gonna let you transfer gas from your can into your vehicle or whatever you're putting it into easily and very efficiently. It's gonna be great for the racetracks. Now, it looks something like this when it's installed on one of those racing containers.
Those are sold separately. If you need something like that, we have those options here as well. Now, this is compatible with the variety of different liquid fuels, gasoline, E15, E85, diesel, kerosene, not to be used with potable water. Don't even try it. It's not safe.
Now, E85, just a side note, may possibly corrode your seals, so keep that in mind if that's the kind of fuel you're using and keep an eye on those seals. Now, this has a built-in universal thread adapter. That way if you need to go to a different style of thread for those racing canisters and whatnot, you can do that with ease by simply screwing this on and then threading that onto that can itself. And if you don't need it, you can simply not use it, obviously, pop it off, and then you have your standard threads and everything already built into the head unit here. So you can see you got a couple different options there for that.
It does use four AA batteries, sold separately, or if you have some at home you can use them as well. And as you can see, you do have a nice little attachment point here for the pump handle whenever you're not using and everything, you can just simply connect that back on here. And you can pivot this however you need it for your specific setup of needs. Now, as you see, you've got the pump itself here and you've got obviously a filter and everything built in here. And then this is gonna be down inside the can and you're gonna be then pumping your fuel out to wherever you need it with this nice handheld nozzle.
It feels much like just a regular fuel nozzle, like you're filling up your car with gasoline or something like that. You've got an on/off switch here on the top and that's gonna start the fuel. And then it has an automatic shutoff as well, much like those fuel dispensers you're used to at the gas pumps and everything for everyday use. And you've got a little built-in light and everything as well to make it easier to see when you're using it. So very nice feature. It's about 51-3/16 inches long on that hose, so you have a nice length. And then the intake here is almost 24 inches long. It's about 23-3/8 inches long. The flow rate on this guy is gonna be 2.3 gallons per minute. And as I said before, it's gonna automatically shut off. It has a hole in the pump head that prevents leaks and that air flow and everything stops fuel from continuing siphoning in whenever that pump is shut off. So very nice safe options there. You're gonna get about 250 gallons roughly over the lifespan of a nice set of four AA batteries. So kind of keep that in mind as far as, you know, how much you're using it and have some extra batteries on hand just to be safe. So very nice little product. I like it. I think it's a neat little idea. And again, you can transfer fuel safely. And let's say you're not even at the racetrack. Let's say maybe for whatever reason you can't physically hold those five gallon cans or whatever size they are anymore, you could simply put this on those kind of cans too and then use this to maybe fill up your lawnmower, tiller, whatever, side by sides, those kind of things. So a lot of different options, possibilities are pretty much endless. It does meet the high safety standards of ANSI, UL, CSA, and NSF. And you can find out more information about the safety things on the website as well. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven, thanks so much for our time together and have a great day.

Great tool
works well, but not sure how it will hold up
Not a robust item
Just what I needed! Works great!
Used the transfer pump about six times before the "off" button stopped working and gas overflowed onto my driveway. etrailer took it back for a replacement under warranty and when I never received the replacement, I contacted them. They mistakenly processed the return as a refund and not an exchange. Due to this, I had to pay for the second pump to be delivered, the original was a gift from my kids. I am hoping I have better luck with the replacement pump. My past experiences with etrailer have always been positive
Good product, I am 85 yrs old and rehab old tractors, can’t hold a 5gal gas can up on one anymore. This is a great product.
The pump works well.
I transfer diesel into my JD tractor that has its tank about 6’ off the ground. The only issue I have is the screw on filter is too large to fit into some 5 gallon cans.
The long discharge hose is what i needed to reach from the fuel container on the ground to the fuel tank inlet behind the seat on my Kubota tractor! Works like a charm!
Considering the condition of the box when it arrived I'm surprised it works...USPS is a joke and I never send anything with them...luckily the pump is very durable and works just fine
Essential to transfer gas or diesel to the truck, tractor or to get fine control filling a diesel heater, uses AA batteries and lasts a fair amount of time til they need to be recharged. Auto shut-off is great. Highly recommend.
This is the best. I’ve also given 1 of these to 2 of my friends and they rave about them.
I use these for lawnmowers, weed whackers, Ranger and snow throwers. It’s like pulling up to a gas station and filling up. It also prevents spills. Well you can spill but it’s designed Not to. 5 Stars!!!
This is a great transfer pump, well made, works as advertised. Simple to use and fits all my fuel cans
I like this pump and use it for kerosene transfer to a heater. It works well quickly making the transfer. I use the can adapters on two different 5 gallon cans. The manufacturer needs to make a sealing cap that fits the pump threads on each adapter when taking the can for a fill-up.I would give it 5 stars if that were the case.
It’s awesome
I purchased this fuel pump to use for refueling from 5 gallon gas tanks. It empties 5 gallons in about 4 minutes. It is much easier than holding the 5 gallon tank while trying to refill a gas tank.
Sofar seems to work fine
Awesome product
This transfer pump is great. No more fuel spills.
At first blush....unimpressed. everything is plastic....which by itself may not be bad....but it's thin and likely not going to hold up to cold or any kind of impact. Haven't tried it yet but even good performance won't make the materials better.
I like it. It is used to fuel my farm tractor. It was very hard to get the can up onto the tractor and pour it. This pump is so nice I just set the fuel can on the floor board and the nozzle reaches the fuel tank. I should have bought this product years ago.
This unit as worked so well, I have told several people to purchase it. My wife can fill her own lawn tractor now and doesn't have to wait for me to come home. It is awesome.
Works well transferring diesel from truck bed tank to OEM tank. I didn't want to alter the bed with holes or alter OEM tank with fuel line modifications while in warranty. This was solution I chose and it worked perfect.
Great pump for transferring liquids, using mine for diesel and a second pump for gas. Batteries have a fair life, would prefer having a rechargeable pump or even better using he batteries for my DeWalt tools.
great job great customer service and really fast shipping
they fit very hard on my VP race jugs and they leak right at the jug. The large black part that screws onto the jug is kinda junk. Not reliable to not leak if tipped just very little and very hard to screw on without cross threading.
Condition: Like New
Notes: May have damaged packaging or minor cosmetic blemishes.

I am shocked to hear this Brad. I have recommended this to people before and have had great feedback. Did you make sure the threads are clean? I would also make sure that you are not over tightening, that could be causing the leaking as well. Please let me know if this does the trick.
