Installation of Curt Front Mount Hitch on a 2010 Nissan Titan
Published 12/08/2015 >
Question:
Hey I was looking at the Curt 31061 front hitch for a Nissan Titan Pro-4X. My question is, can I mount this without removing the front skid plate, or does that have to be removed to install this hitch? I was wanting to keep the skid plate if at all possible. Please let me know so that I know if I want to order this or not. I know that it says for the 4x4 models, but I cannot find anything about the Pro-4X with factory skid plates. Thanks,

I spoke to Curt and they informed me that you would either need to remove or cut into the skid plate for the hitch to mount properly on the Pro-4X model.
Also its important to note that modification is up to the installer. It may be easier to remove the skid plate completely, since it would need excessive modifications to work.
