Video Transcript for Mount: WeatherTech All-Weather Front Floor Mats on a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic

Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we have the WeatherTech All-Weather Floor Mats. These are semi custom fit floor mats. We'll take a look at how they fit the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. Look at how this fits our front cab of our 1500 Classic.

I do like how even though it's a semi custom fit, you can see how those contours work around our truck's interior. Now, where this doesn't fit as well is gonna be where the tabs are. You do have the holes here that actually do line up with where the tab locations are. I personally recommend punching a hole within those holes. That way, you can hook the tabs into them and keep them secure.

So this has some very thick layers to the floor mat and the very bottom layer is gonna be these nubs or spikes. So those hook into your upholstery or your carpet and further help this format from sliding around, so they're spaced apart for the different needs of your interior. This is made of a weatherproof and pliable rubber. Compared to your custom fit floor mats, those are made of HDTE, which is a lot more rigid. This is gonna be a lot more flexible, but look at how thick that rubber layer or rubber construction is, which keeps the stability as well as helps protect your interior.

The rubber is molded into different textures, so the top is gonna have something that's good for gripping of your feet and then the bottom is going to have these channels so your shoes still grip onto this material. But more importantly is if you spill liquids, or you have snow melt, or have rain and mud, they're all gonna channel through and collect within the mat. If you're installing it for the first time, take off your old mats. I recommend vacuuming and cleaning your interior before putting this into place. Again, for a semi custom fit, it really just pops in there and it's ready to go.

So you are going to get two mats with this kit, one for the drivers, one for the passengers. There's also a label in the back to help you figure out which one is which.
