Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with this functional, custom floor mat. Rear liner has a rigid plastic core for durability, and its unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Randy: Hi. Randy at etrailer. Today on our 2014 Ford Explorer, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech Third Row Auto Floor liner. These are in black, part number WT443593. They're also available in tan, part number WT453593, and in gray, part number WT463593. To begin our test fit today, we'll need to roll our seats out of the way here. We'll do that by pulling up on the gray lever.
That's going to expose the floor area here that we're going to be covering up with our new auto floor liners. With the driver side seat folded there, we'll come around to the passenger side. With our seats folded up out of the way, typically we'd remove the factory floor mat. This one didn't have one in it. Just keep that in mind when you're installing it in your vehicle.
Remove your factory floor mat to give you the perfect fit. With our new liner, we're going to bring it in. As you can see, it's got a really nice custom fit. It's going to allow you to know exactly where to place it. We'll just push down firmly around the edge to be sure we have it in the proper spot. As you can see, the custom molded design of this mat is made to fit perfectly in your vehicle and also to give you full coverage. These mats extend well up underneath what would be our second row seats here.
They also have all your connection points for your seats that are exposed. That way you have good use of your vehicle. As you can see, you have a raised edge around the entire perimeter of the mat. That helps to keep your spills and stuff contained in the floor. It also has these specifically designed patterns in the floor.
These help to channel dirt, debris, and water away from your feet over where they can be easily cleaned up. The WeatherTech mats are designed with a solid, rigid, plastic core and then they apply a rubberize texture to go over the top. This gives you great grip in getting in and out, even in wet conditions. It also helps with great durability. The same rubber coating is added to the bottom of the mat and that helps to grip the floor. That way it's not going to slip and slide around on you. As you can see, this is a one piece liner, so it's designed to give you superior coverage even over the center hump area. With the rubber coated material, they're very easy, as far as maintenance goes. When they get dirty, they get debris, you can simply take a wet towel and wipe them down or completely remove them and hose them off. The black finish, or the black color is going to compliment many interiors and these mats are completely made in the United States. We're going to go ahead and fold our seats back down to see how the mats work with them. As we do this, they go well up under the seat. They give you great coverage. We'll drop the driver's side of our seats down, and just like that, we've got our mat installed. That's going to complete today's test fit of the WeatherTech Third Row Auto Floor Mat in black, part number WT443593, on our 2014 Ford Explorer. .

Definitely not the best place for them to be floppy, Kelly. I put WeatherTech floor mats in my Silverado quite a few years ago, though a different style, and it did take a little bit for them to form themselves to fit perfectly. We get pretty hot in the summer hear in Missouri, so it wasn't too bad. Being winter now, it might take a little longer, but I think you will be happy with them in the long run. I definitely am with mine! ^___^ Are these just to get nicer ones than the factory mats or are you going to be getting muddy often? The factory ones in my Silverado were absolutely terrible so it was a huge upgrade for me.

Thanks for sharing the photo, that really helps. These are custom-fit mats, but with motorhomes like the Freedom Elite, there can be slight differences depending on the floor layout or trim level. Even though they’re listed to fit multiple models, Thor sometimes makes small changes around the passenger side footwell that can affect how that corner sits. What you’re seeing on that edge is usually from the mat not quite matching the contour of that specific floor shape. Sometimes letting the mat sit in the sun or a warm area can help it relax and settle a bit better, but if it’s still not lining up after that, it may just be a variation in that particular model. If you can share your exact Freedom Elite model, we can double check fitment and see if there’s a better option or confirm if that’s expected for your setup.

I had contacted WeatherTech. Can you please confirm if you have removed the carpeted floormats prior to installing them these floor mats?

The fit isn’t the best. And wish I had gotten the individual ones vs the one that covers the entire front floor. Outside of that they work great. They are dirty from snow and mud but they clean up great.

Its been about a year and the mat is doing its job as far as keeping the carpet looking new. My only complaint is the mat will not stay in place. It will slide very easy. Weather Tech sent some Velcro but it doesnt help in the movement. I have several strips on the underneath of the mat. This is all that Weather Tech offered as a fix. Dont know if I would purchase them again or not.
