Today on this 2012 Ford Explorer, we're going to be taking a look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black, part number WT40488. This also comes in gray as part number WT42488 and in tan as part number WT41488. Now with our cargo area cleared out, go ahead and set our mat in place and it actually fit underneath the third row seats here. As you can see, it conforms really well to our cargo area. It has these raised edges all the way around it to ensure all liquids or dirt or grime will stay on the mat and off your carpet. It has these channels here and that will guide the water and dirt and debris to make sure it stays on the mat as well. Also, underneath the carpet has a texturized bottom here to make sure that it will not slide around after you install it. It's made from a durable material that will also conform perfectly to your vehicle, and also the mat has a factory look to it after you install it.
To clean this, it's very easy. You simply take it out. You wash it with some soap and water, let it dry, and put it back in. There you have it for the WeatherTech Cargo Liner in black, part number WT40488, on our 2012 Ford Explorer.
