Video Transcript for Installing the WeatherTech 2nd Row Rear Auto Floor Mat on your 2023 Ford Expedition

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the WeatherTech second row auto floor mats in the 2023 Ford Expedition Max. Now this will be a great option for you if you really need to get all that coverage in the back seat, whether you have people coming over or if you have kids, you don't want any of that dirt or debris getting on the floor making things a lot easier to clean. And taking a closer look at the floor mats themselves on how they fit in here, they are a custom fit, so they're really gonna have a lot of coverage and cover a lot of the space underneath here. We're gonna have a little bit of walls coming up on either side and that those walls are gonna help keep any debris from falling out and keeping it on top of our floor mat. I will say they're not very high but I think they're gonna do a good enough job to keep a majority of it out.

And right down over here we're gonna have these raised surfaces. Now it's gonna be great to keep your feet away from sticking in any of that debris on the bottom whether that be any crumbs or if you spill something on the floor. And as for cleaning it, this is gonna get pretty dirty especially when you have kids and people come back here maybe after soccer practice or something like that, they're gonna have really dirty shoes. And if you just have any light stuff like this you can just pretty much wipe that off with your hand or a rag. And what's gonna be nice about it too, you get a wet rag I think that's gonna make it look as good as new.

Now it's gonna be really great for collecting all that debris in here. So when you do have to take this out and shake it off all you have to do is grab either side and pull it out. And that's what's nice about that kind of flexible material. It's gonna come out really nice and easy and give you the ability to dump all that out. So taking a look at how this kind of forms and fits in to our backseat is really gonna be a great fit 'cause we're getting really close to the center console right here, and this is gonna go way underneath our front seats.

Even with me putting my feet like this, I'm still getting that coverage down there. And see, I'm gonna extend all the way to the back and almost go right underneath these seats as well. Now when you're installing this into your vehicle what I really do like about it is the material of it. Not only is it gonna be really good for catching any debris and any liquid, but it's also gonna be able to flex a lot. So with you putting in here, since this is a second row one, it's gonna be a little bit difficult.

But with this ability to really bend and flex into place, that's gonna make things a lot easier. It's also gonna be nice too, because when you are pushing this second row seat up so that people can get into the back it's gonna be really nice because this is also gonna bend with that seat. And then afterwards, when you're done and you push that back down it's just gonna go right back into place. Another feature that I actually found out when I was using this one is how it contours the fit within our door. So if you look right here, when we shut our door it's gonna be held down in place, right underneath here giving it a really good fit. And it's gonna be less likely to get any debris within the spot right here. Overall, I think this is gonna be a great fit for your vehicle, especially if you're trying to keep things nice and clean inside of your vehicle. You have a lot of people coming and going, like kids, friends that are going to a lot of events. This is really gonna make cleaning your vehicle a lot easier.
