What's up everybody It's A.J. with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this cargo area protector from WeatherTech on our 2021 Subaru Forester. The cargo mat itself is made out of a blended TPE plastic and it's gonna be a textured finish here, so it does have some grip to it. So when you throw something back here it's not gonna just slide back and forth and all around. It has some grip to help you out with there.
There's also the channels there too, so if liquid gets in there, it can fall in those channels and like kind of collect there and not kind of go all over the place. Now it's gonna be really good for a bunch of different things, whether you're just throwing some muddy shoes in there after a trail run or something or maybe you're doing some projects around the house. You get a bag of concrete or a bag of mulch, you throw it back here. It's far easier to clean up this mat than it is gonna be to completely get the vacuum cleaner out and clean up all that, or try and scrub any of that stuff out of there. And all the mess stays on the mat, which makes it very helpful.
Now the material is not rigid, so it's gonna be easy to take out too. So if it did, if it was a little bit more rigid with plastic, it'd be kind of hard to get it out of there very easily, but you can still bend it very well, but it also holds its shape. So when I go to come out here, like let's say there was a mess in there. If I wanted to fold it over and bring it out. It still holds its shape enough for me to get that mess out of the car and not have the whole mat kind of just flop down on me.
The custom cargo mat really sticks out, because you can see how it goes here, and all the grooves in the back of our Forester. It's made to fit this vehicle. And you can tell it moves around a little bit but not too much just because it's all tucked away in those corners. Another thing I like, around the edges is the side walls. You see, there's a raised wall here, which again, if you do spill a mess in there, you can dry it right out.
It's gonna keep it from going off of the mat. It just doesn't end here, it comes up, and there's gonna have that lip here towards the back and the front too, so just keeping that mess in here on the mat. Overall, I think it's gonna be really helpful to have this. I don't like cleaning out the back of my car that often. So this mat's gonna make that part easier. Whatever mess goes on it, I can easily take this out, spray it with a hose, let it dry out and throw it right back in there, and I never had to get the vacuum. Well, I think that does it. The fit is lacking quite a bit (like 3-5 inches off in places) also wish I didn’t get the one that covers the whole floor in one piece. I wish it was 3 pieces that snap together for easier cleaning because this design you end up dumping all the crud on the floor of the truck while trying to take the mat out to clean it.

My review was for the weather tech floor mats for the front of the Chevy Silverado. The mats are great to a point but the wear and tear in the weak spots are terrible especially. On the driver's side foot rest heel is very thin and is creating a several small holes in the liner. Especially when my girlfriend drives with her heels on. She literally got the heel stuck thru the liner

Drivers side fits nice and snug in the F250. Passenger side fits well, however, the side closest to the door is curling up. I put a weight on it to hold it down, we will see if that works. Hopefully, in the heat of the summer it will flatten out. If not I won't be happy.

Fits well in the F250. Passenger side is curled closest to the door along with the portion that goes up under the front seats. I put weight on it to hold down but, I can't get it to snug up and hold on the curved edge. Any suggestions?

Due to the manufacturer's error, these mats did not fit the specified vehicle. etrailer tried to help me re-select the item, but according to the manufacturer, this is the correct part number for the Transit Connect, but the driver's side configuration is wrong, the size is way too big and the post arrangement is wrong. The correct part is not available from the manufacturer.

These mats are really good. Still like new after 1 year. My only suggestion to WeatherTech would be to make them have a bit more of a natural "rubber" feel rather than molded plastic, which is hard and less forgiving.

Received the mats 6 days after ordering using the "free shipping "option. I feel this is reasonable and the tracking provided was accurate and up to date.
Now about the mats. I have owned many vehicles and have always tried to protect the interior and keep it as new looking as possible. I believe these mats will help me do that. In s word, they are great. They fit really well and the color match is spot on. The texture is non-slip and they are flexible enough that taking them in and out is a very easy. In short they are perfect for my vehicle and I would most certainly buy them again.
I will definitely use "etrailer" again for any products I need that they carry.

Cargo mat delivered did not completely
Fit the cargo area. I'm assuming the wrong mat was sent. 2018 Chevy Equinox LS . Waiting for response back from eTrailer. I called 800 # on July 11, 2017 three times from 4:30pm to 5pm EST and computer prompt for service with product was #3. On hold twice for over 15 minutes with no explanation or human contact. Called third time and used prompt 1 for sales thinking they would surely pick this call up. Same 15 minutes on hold without any contact. Hung up again after unnecessary wait.
Hopefully this will get worked out and at the minimum a credit should be offered for the screw up and non existent customer phone service.

As always etrailer was very quick to process my order and get my products to me in a timely manner. I did notice that the box these came in had a small puncture in the side. Luckily none of the products were damaged, but the delivery drivers would most likely be the ones to blame for the damage to the package. So far I’m impressed with these mats, they definitely do a good job at keeping mud and water from getting on the carpet, and even do a good job of keeping the dirt and dust to a minimum. I do wish somehow there was some sort of protection for the carpet between the seat and the door sill plate. This seems to be an area that is extremely difficult to keep the carpet dirt and dust free. Also, it would have been nice to see some more protection up the side of the transmission tunnel on the passenger side because passengers seem to like to put their muddy feet wherever they please, but even if it were covered they would still find some carpet to make dirty! Other than that, these are some very tough, rugged, well-fitting floor mats for my truck!

Perfect fit on the front of 2022 Chevrolet 2500HD Crew Cab with vinyl floors. Nice look as well, these included sticky tabs to make sure they don't slide around, although the fit is pretty tight and unlikely to move around to begin with. Very pleased with this purchase, the price wasn't bad for name-brand high-quality mats.

Really like the way they look and the coverage is excellent. The mats allow room for the seats to move forward for access to the third row seat, while allowing good coverage for the foot area in the second row seating.

I was skeptical. Seemed expensive for "floor mats". Well I'm not a skeptic any more. They are perfect. The fact that they are molded into the exact shape for my truck is amazing. They dont move, slide, shift.
I live in a rural area (dirt). Keeps it all contained and then easily swept or vacuumed out. Especially helpful at the boat ramp!!!

Does not fit 2022 Winnebago Solis. Not only does it not stick on the floors, but the cut does not account for the actual seat legs or the raised area in the middle of the cabin. Do not purchase for any of the Solis line RVs.
