Video Transcript for Complete Breakdown of the Erickson Emergency Warning Triangle w/ Reflectors and LED Lights

Hey everybody, it's Jake here with the trailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and I'm going to show you some of the cool features about the Erickson emergency triangle. These we're made to help you in the case of emergencies when your RV or your vehicle maybe broke down on the side of the road. These are going to be used to divert traffic away from your vehicle while you're parked on the side of the road. It's going to make it a much safer environment for you while you're working on your unit and for others on the highway so that they can see. The construction is going to be a durable plastic design.

It will have an orange plastic for easy visibility and it will have a reflective plastic lens on the front with LEDs for vision at night. This is going to give you optimal visibility for others to be able to see you when you're on the side of the road.Now, what's nice about these safety triangles is that it's going to be reusable. Unlike a road flare, it's a onetime use and you're going to have to go buy more. In addition to that, a road flare has a tendency to want to roll away with the highway wind that you might have. With this one, it's going to have these slide out feet that are gonna make it so that, you can see, I'm pushing back pretty hard on it and it's not going to go anywhere and it has rubber feet to make it easy to set on any surface.Now, when it comes to breaking down the triangle, you just simply lift it up.

There's a toggle switch on the back, which will be your power source. So you just want to make sure you turn that off, turn your feet to where they're even with the other feet, and then you'll take the triangle and you'll separate it like so and pull it down in the front and in the back.Then once you have it in this position, you can take their convenient carrying case and slide it in so that it doesn't get damaged when it's in storage. And you place your lid on and you're ready to get back on the road. With this you are only going to get one triangle, but we do recommend picking a couple more up to set up in the configuration we have here so you can give your drivers a heads up before you get to your vehicle.Now that we've gone over some of those features, let's go ahead and show you how to get your triangle set up. To get your triangle set up, what you want to do is you'll take it out of the packaging, and then we'll take our arms, fold them up, and then on the back you'll see these three tabs.

The center tab is going to go in the middle of those two tabs and you just clip them in together.On the back side there will be a battery cover. You just simply lift that off and insert three AA batteries. These are not included, so you'll want to pick up enough for however many triangles you're going to be using. It's also not a bad idea to carry a few spares just so you're always safe.Now to insert your batteries. Insert our negative side in first.

Now we can replace our cap, and then we need to fold out our legs. You just twist and it's ready for use.Well guys, with all that being said, that's going to do it for a look at the Erickson emergency triangle.
