Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Stromberg Carlson RV jack pads, and they're gonna be for 2,500 all the way up to 9,000-pound scissor jacks with what's called the bowtie base. Now I'll throw an image up real quick. You pretty simply put the jack foot over these pads, put it down in place, use a screwdriver maybe to help you get it over the rubber lip, and then once it's there, it's installed, just pop it on, use a screwdriver to stretch it over the base and secure it with the four included ties through the holes, and then on that indented part there to keep it nice and flush and outta the way. Each pad's gonna have two of these little plastic guys. (plastic adapter taps) Those are gonna be basically adapters.
If you have a shorter, maybe an eight-inch long base, you could use those. Otherwise, you don't necessarily have to have them and you just put the foot in there if it's the 8 3/4 long version. So overall external dimensions, 11 long, 6 1/2 wide. Internally, so where that jack foot's actually sitting, I got 8 3/4 inches long by 4 3/8 wide. Nice pads, folks, they're made of a molded EPDM rubber.
They're flexible, way, way more durable than like your crumb rubber, where they just put little balls of rubber together and mold it into a shape. They're not gonna crack, break, or crumble. They're gonna protect the foot pad from rocks and roots. They're gonna serve as a cushion, grip the uneven terrain, and they'll even stop 'em from sinking into the ground and help protect your concrete, your driveway, asphalt, whatever it is, and make a nice smooth spot. They do have built-in drain holes that double as the holes for the cable ties to go through once it's installed, and that's gonna help keep out water and moisture.
It is beveled or raised here in the very center, so water will travel downhill and out. Two-year warranty on the pads, folks. A great, great product here by Stromberg Carlson. I'm Steven, thanks for looking today with me at the RV jack pads and have a great day.
