Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Carr Bolt-On Grab Handle. This is going to give you a nice sturdy, heavy duty grab handle to mount onto your vehicle. Whether that's a truck, snowplow, whatever the case may be, it's going to allow you to easily hold on, pull yourself up, get into your vehicle. This does have the slip resistant grooves.
It's going to make it very easy to hold onto, even if we have big gloves on our hands. So that we're not slowed down if we're out working. We're going to have two inches of clearance here. That's going to provide plenty of space. So we're not going to be wracking our knuckles or anything like that, to reach around and grab a hold of it.
And you can mount this in several different locations.You are going to have to drill into your vehicles tube. So, you will be a little bit limited there, but all the hardware to get it mounted is included. You will just need an 1130 seconds inch drill bit to drill the holes for those. You can see this is a black powder coat finish aluminum. So it's very light, very durable.
It's going to resist any rust and corrosion. This is the black powder coat option. There's also a yellow safety option, as well as a polished aluminum finish option. They're going to have the same dimensions, come with all the same hardware. Basically, they're the exact same thing, just with a different color.
That yellow safety, makes it stand out a little bit more. Just depending on your preferences, if you'd like the black powder coat rugged look, or the polished aluminum, a little bit fancier, shinier look.As far as our dimensions, from the end-to-end it's right about 20 inches. We're going to have closer to 14 inches of usable handle. We're going to have about two inches of clearance, as I said, but the whole bar will stick out just over three inches. And then the width, it's right about an inch and a quarter there. Very sturdy, very trusty bar. We can mount onto our vehicle to help us get in and out of those higher seats.
