The price is reasonable, the piece fit perfectly. I'm not very skilled in installing things like that and it was incredibly easy and simple (just took a couple of minutes!). Watched the video and arranging the cables was a piece of cake. It was a very fast shipping and I'm very happy with the finished product and service. I will recommend it in the future.

This kit was super easy to install. Could be done in half an hour but I am anal about electrical stuff so it took me a bit less than an hour. I took my battery out to get to the connector easier but it could be reached by leaving the battery in. This is the kit you need. Fits the stock connectors perfectly and can be rolled up to fit in the jack storage area.

How do I know if my 2008 is tow ready for the intalation of this particular kit? I only ask this from the last comment response to the 2010 instalation. Thanks!

You may be able to contact Mitsubishi with the VIN an dthey can tell you. The other option is to check out the instructions for the part # C56102 and find the connector on the Outlander. If it is present, use a circuit tester to make sure the contacts in the plug go active when headlights, brakes or turn signals are used.

The product arrived in excellent shape and was easy to install. The only comment was that no drilling was necessary on the 2012 Outlander, there is a factory supplied pre-drilled and taped hole over the right wheel well. Just put in the metric bolt and your done in the rear. The front hook up was easy once you find the plug which is taped to a wiring harness behind the left headlight.

The Hitch fit great. Hardest part was I had to re-tap the rusted weld nuts..
The wiring harness was easy also..I had to remove battery to get at plug in..
