Wiring a trailer can get tricky if you have to splice into factory wiring, but this harness keeps it simple. The Curt T-Connector plugs right into your vehicle’s existing tail light connectors to create a 4-flat trailer plug. No cutting, no wire tracing, just clean plug-in connections that make setup straightforward.
Trailer lighting draws power differently from vehicle lights, and that’s where the integrated converter box comes in. It safely combines the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle into the standard trailer light circuit. This keeps your vehicle electronics protected and your trailer lights working correctly every time you tow.
Weak or corroded grounds can cause flickering or non-working lights, but this harness uses a dedicated ground wire that connects directly to clean bare metal for a stable connection. That solid ground helps prevent the common issues like dimming or lights coming on unexpectedly when headlights are used.
Once connected, the 4-flat trailer plug provides the standard functions—running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. It’s a dependable setup for small and mid-size trailers that need straightforward lighting control without extra wiring complexity.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with a Four Pull Flat Trailer Connector. This product fits certain years and models of the Dodge Caravan, Grand Caravan, Durango, Plymouth Voyager, Grand Voyager and Chrysler Town and Country. To ensure that this is a fit for your vehicle, you can use the vehicle fit guide at etrailer.com. This is going to provide a four way flat connector at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights. It is compatible with five pull, six pull and seven pull adapters. Adapters are sold separately.
And it comes with the dust cap for the four way flat connector. That way you can cover up the connection points when your plug's not being used. The black box right here is the included tail light converter. This is going to ensure that your vehicles wiring matches that of your trailer's. It's constructed using surface mount technology for consistent, reliable performance. What that does is, it maximizes the trailer light yield and intensity while producing minimal heat.
Also ensures superior operation, even in rough road conditions. Now this unit is designed to connect quickly and easily. You don't have to worry about cutting or splicing any wires. Just locate the connection points behind your tail lights and plug in your connectors. One set goes to the passenger side, the other set goes to the driver side. Now these plugs are going to match perfectly with the ports on your vehicle.
It is a custom fit wiring harness, and they're going to snap lock together for a nice tight secure fit. The unit does come with detailed installation instructions to help walk you through that process step by step. Once you have those connected, you'll need to mount your converter box to a nice clean out of the way location and you can do that using the double sided adhesive tape provided with the kit. And then can secure the excess or slack in your wiring with the included cable ties.Once your install's complete, the four way connectors are going to be stowed within the jack storage compartment of your vehicle's rear cargo area. You've got plenty of wiring here to extend it out the back of the vehicle when you're ready to use it.
And then you can roll it up, tuck it away when you don't need to use it. It is recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease in all your electrical connections, like the plugs on the vehicle and the four pull connector itself. That grease is designed to help prevent corrosion to the terminals. It is sold separately and available at etrailer.com. When it comes to the maximum amperage for the stop and turn lights, we're looking at three amps per circuit and for the tail lights we're looking at five amps per circuit. That's going to do it for today's look at the Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the Four Pull Flat Trailer Connector.

As always shipping and price are fast and great. The product did not last a full year. This was the second unit I purchased and now I am on my third. The first two burned out. Unit one actually melted to the point it filled my Durango with a horrible plasticrubber smell. Second unit the brake light circuit burned out after about 10 months. I mount the units up high under the body where they receive very little water from rain
