Shane: Hi. I'm Shane with etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at Griot's Garage window cleaning tool. It's going to come with a nice storage case so when not using it, you can take it down, put it in the case. You can hang it right up on the back of a door, maybe hang it in your garage. This tool is going to be great for your higher windows, maybe your windshields on your SUVs, high windows like your RVs and campers have that may be hard to reach with just a regular rag.It's going to come with three microfiber cleaning towels, or cleaning mitts that will fit on the end.

These mitts are reversible, so once you're done using one side, you can flip it over, put it on to the head of the cleaning tool, and you can reuse it. These are machine washable, also.As far as our tool, it's going to be a nice durable plastic, really lightweight. You can see we have a very large head. This is going to be great for getting into the corners of your windows that may be hard to reach with your hands to get down in there to get them real clean. This handle basically snaps on just like this.

You're going to screw the other part on like that. It's going to have a nice foam grip to give you a great grip when given a little bit of pressure on those stubborn windows, or stubborn caked-on dirt on those windows. Another things is, this handle's 14 inches long, so it's going to make it easier to reach those higher windows.We're going to show you right now, here on the side of this camper on this slide out, this window here has got a lot of built up dirt and stuff on it. Now you can use pretty much any type of window cleaner. I'm going to recommend Griot's Garage window cleaner.

This is going to help maintain a streak-free wash, once you wash it on. It's not going to leave a haze like some of the other chemicals, or some of the other types of cleaners out there. It doesn't have . It's non-ammonia formula, so it's not going to have a bad smell like some of the other ones out there. It's not real strong.

It's going to smell good so you don't have to worry about it affecting your sinuses. We're going to go ahead and spray some of this on the glass. Wash it off. I'm going to take another one, and I'll buff it out.Along with using this tool for your RV with those higher windows that are hard to reach, it's also great for your trucks and cars, or SUVs that may have a hard windshield to clean in the middle. You're not going to have to need a stool to climb up on to reach over there. Cleaning the inside of the window is very easy to do. This tool makes it very easy to clean any glass, on any of your vehicles. We can take our other mitt, buff it out. Now I'm going to clean the inside because a lot of stuff you see is on the inside of the glass. Many of you know, when cleaning your windshield, the hardest part about cleaning it is getting right down in these edges and in these corners because you've got to kind of reach and lean like this to get down in there. It's kind of a pain in the butt.You can see how easy it was to get down in all these corners. I didn't have to reach. I let the tool do the job, and it was easy to do. If you have spots like this that may be on there . You can see this window was pretty dirty. Just go over it again. Clean it down again. This window cleaner . This tool is going to help you maintain a nice clean piece of glass.You see here, we're going to have two different types of fabric. This one's a little bit more fluffy, where this one's a little bit more fine. You're going to get two of these, and you're going to get one of these. I suggest using this one to clean your glass. This one to buff it. Once you get your cleaning process done, switch it over to this one, buff out your glass, and then you're ready to go.Simply slide it off. All of them are going to have elastic bands. You can see where we have a foam-padded head, here. You don't have to worry about damaging anything. Take this and we'll just stretch it over our head like that. It's that easy.Now in my professional opinion, I think this product would work great for maintaining clean glass on your RVs, trucks and SUVs. If you're wanting a more deeper clean, I suggest something that the head's a little bit stiffer, and then using this after to help maintain that glass to keep those contaminants from getting stuck back on the glass later on. It's going to work great for your RVs that are windows that are up high, that you won't have to need a ladder to get to because we have the extended handle. It's going to work great for the insides of your vehicles that you have to get down here in the corner of your windshield. You're not going to have to reach down in there.Again, as I mentioned before, there's a Griot's Garage window cleaner that works great with this product.
