These frame-mounted tie-downs keep your camper locked down tight by connecting directly to the truck’s strongest point—the frame. That solid connection means your camper stays stable and centered even on long, rough trips. With the weight distributed evenly across the bed, your setup handles naturally, avoiding sway or shifting so you get a safer, more comfortable ride no matter how far you travel.

The tie-downs mount using pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling and no cutting required. The brackets fit snug against the underside for a clean look and minimal loss of ground clearance. Once mounted, you can remove the arms when you’re not hauling, leaving only low-profile brackets that are barely noticeable.
Built for serious use, the removable arms are made of military-grade aluminum alloy that’s both rustproof and easy to handle. The receiver brackets use rugged stainless steel for extra durability. Everything is finished with a high-impact powder coat that stands up to road wear and harsh weather, giving you long-lasting performance without adding unnecessary weight.
Each arm includes two pin holes so you can extend them out from the truck body to clear fenders or sidewalls. You can also choose between two anchor holes to fine-tune your angle for a secure hold. This setup makes it easier to attach turnbuckles (sold separately) and ensures your camper stays firmly in place from multiple angles on every road surface.
When it’s time to drive without the camper, just pull out the arms and the brackets will tuck neatly beneath your truck. The low-profile design keeps your truck’s appearance clean while leaving everything ready for quick reattachment the next time you load up.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at these Torklift Talon Aluminum Custom Frame-Mounted Rear Camper Tie-Downs. Now, these tie-downs are going to work with various versions and bed sizes of the 2015 to 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. But you do wanna make sure that you use our Vehicle Fit Guide to confirm that these are going to work for you. If these tie-downs will not work for you, our Fit Guide can recommend the tie-downs that will actually work for you. Now, these tie-downs, as you no doubt know, are going to provide attachment points at the rear of your truck bed for securing a bed-mounted camper.
And these will pair with front tie-downs which are sold separately. But again, you do want to use our Fit Guide to find the front tie-downs that will work best for your truck. So the frame-mounted design is going to ensure excellent handling because securing your camper to your truck's base, instead of its bed, better distributes weight to keep your setup from being too top-heavy. Now, the brackets are gonna fit tight to the frame of your truck, so there will be no loss of ground clearance. This is going to use pre-existing holes in the frame, so there's gonna be little to no drilling required.
And then the rust-proof lightweight aluminum alloy tie-down inserts are going to secure to the durable stainless steel receiver brackets using the included pins. And just to give you a brief demonstration, these inserts can be easily removed from the stainless steel brackets, and all you have to do is remove these pins and then slide out the insert. And as I mentioned, these are aluminum alloys, so they're very lightweight, but they're gonna be very durable for you. And so when you remove these from the receiver brackets, you can just put them maybe in the back of the cab of your truck. And then when you're ready to use them, you can just grab them and then slide them back into the stainless steel receiver brackets.
Now, while this one is out, I did want to point out that you are going to receive two caps to put onto the front of the brackets when the inserts are removed. Let me see if I can fit this over this real quick here. This is going to be a nice tight fit, so you're not gonna have to worry about this cap accidentally coming off, but this is going to give the receiver bracket a nice finished look. It's going to keep debris from getting in there when the insert is not in there. And then these do come with styrofoam plugs as well.
And what these styrofoam plugs are for is you just slide this all the way to the rear of the receiver bracket, and that's going to keep junk from getting in through the back. So that's a really nice addition. Again, it's going to not only give it a finished look, but it's just gonna be a great. Do a great job of really making these tie-downs undetectable when you have the inserts removed, so there's really not going to be a dramatic change to the look and character of your truck after you install these. I also wanted to point out, hopefully you can see there, we do have these two different holes that the pins are going to go through on the inserts. So for instance, if your camper is a little bit wider, you're gonna use this first hole on the insert to have this tie-down point stick out a little bit farther. If your camper is a little bit narrower, you can move it into this inner hole, and the bale pins are gonna secure it in place, giving you that secure connection point for your turn buckles. So I'm gonna slide that into that second hole there. So this will fit on my table again. Run this pin through. You wanna make sure you got the holes lined up. (camper tie-downs clattering) And there we go. And then secure the pin and we are good to go. Now, these do the inserts and the brackets have a high-impact powder coat finish that's gonna add an extra layer of protection to the brackets and to the inserts. And you are gonna receive everything that you see here on my table. You're going to get two rear tie-down inserts. Again, aluminum alloy. Two receiver brackets, and those are, again, stainless steel. And then a set of instructions to guide you through that installation process along with the hardware. And then again, the caps and the styrofoam plugs, these are made here in the USA, and they do have a lifetime warranty from Torklift. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Tie downs are still installed on my 2022 GMC and are working well in holding my camper in place.
