Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the CargoSmart Weld On Forged D Ring Tie Down Anchor. This has a 15,000 pound working load limit. Now this Forged D Ring will provide additional holding power when you're securing cargo to your walls and floor of your trailer or the bed of your truck. It is a heavy-duty steel construction. It is a weld on installation. Quantity is for one ring.
Anchor point diameter is going to be right at one inch. Now the horizontal inside dimension of this ring is going to be right at three inches and the vertical is going to be right at three inches also. Again, this has a safe working load limit of 15,000 pounds. The maximum load or break strength is 45,000 pounds.Now one note I do want to mention is the tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the anchors that are being used.
So, for example, if you're using anchors that have a working load limit of 100 pounds each to tie down a load that's weighing 400 pounds, then you need at least four anchors to safely secure that load.
