Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at these BullRing Raised Fit Retractable Tie-Down Anchors for your Truck Bed Stake Pockets. These heavy duty anchors are going to attach to your truck bed stake pockets and provide tie-down points to secure your load, working with S-hook and J-hook connections. Now, these are custom fit anchors that are going to fit the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra, the 2007 to 2013 Toyota Tundra double cab and regular cab. And I do wanna mention that these will fit access cab models with pop-out rail cab covers, but they will not fit crew max models with four full doors. Now, while factory anchor points are inside the bed of your truck, they can be hard to reach. These retractable anchor points are going to install into the stake pockets on top of your bed rails. And then you can just simply pop the anchor ring up when you want to use it to secure a load. And then when you're done, you just push it down firmly and it'll be flush and they'll be out of your way, and that's how easy these are to use. So again, let me demonstrate this for you.
You're just gonna pull this ring up firmly and you hear that click, that means that it is secured tightly in place. So you're not gonna have to worry about this ring slipping down accidentally when you're using it. And then when you are done using this you just push this down firmly and it's going to push down flush with the body of this anchor and it's gonna be completely out of your way. So very simple to use. This raised fit is going to sit just above your bed rail.
Now, these anchors have a weight capacity of 1,000 pounds and they are constructed of stainless steel that will resist rust and corrosion. And the nylon lower body is going to reduce sound. And these are going to match the grain and color of your Toyota truck bed rails, giving it that nice factory look. Now, not only are these gonna be very easy to use but they're gonna be very easy and very quick to install and really requires nothing more than your Phillips head screwdriver. So to install these you're just going to remove any plastic caps that covers the stake pockets on your Toyota.
And then you're gonna use your Phillips screwdriver to loosen these two screws in the anchor so that the steel plate can drop down. Now, I went ahead and already loosen these screws before our time together, so we go ahead and remove them. And then when I grab a hold of this top cover you see that that steel plate is just hanging there. It is ready for this to be inserted into your stake pocket. I do wanna mention that this will not become detached from the ring. It is there permanently. So you're not gonna have to worry about this plate becoming disconnected and losing it in your stake pocket. So holding the top cover, you're just going to guide the anchor into the stake pocket at an angle. And then you're going to pull up on the cover catching the lower bracket on the truck sheet metal and then hold the ring and allow the cover to drop into place. Then you're just going to replace these screws and take your screwdriver and just simply hand-tighten them. Don't over-tighten them. If the plastic rail cap is starting to bend or bow then that means you are making them too tight. So very easy, very quick installation. Now, you are going to get four tie-down anchors, and these do have a lifetime warranty. And overall, I am very impressed with these. They are, in my opinion, very well built and they feel very robust and they feel like they're going to be able to take quite a bit of punishment. And again, I'm very impressed with the ease of use, but even more than that, the ease of installation. Once you get these, you're gonna have these installed in no time and they're gonna be ready to go. But that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. I have not got a chance to use them yet but they do fit pefectly. So yes I will be using them with in the next 2 weeks because I am going to be moving things that need to be anchord down looking forward to it.

These do require you to cut/trim the plastic around all four stake pockets on a RAM. It wasnt hard to do with a dremel. Just be aware that you do have to modify your truck. Once installed, they look great.
Installed these on a 25 Ram 1500 today, used a dremel tool and a couple of different bits. Was tough to cut into the plastic on a new truck but the finish was worth it. These should work great moving forward
Great product! Easy to install. Unfortunately useful website info is lacking, for example: when trying to assess whether these would fit my truck with tonneau installed there was a statement about being compatible with some (or most) but didn't have dimensions so I could tell, and instructions tell me to go to bullringinstall.com although that site does not exist. On the install topic, I noticed that they were a mirrored pair - must be a reason. I decided to install with the logo readable from the rear which has the larger interior part toward the outside of the truck.
Anyway, attached are pics showing the tonneau (Weather Tech) and the Rings installed on my 2021 Silverado 1500 LTZ.
Product is great. The link to web site for installation instructions was not working. It took a little time but I figured it out.
Easy installation and makes securing the load in the bed simple!
I can't say much just yet, as the d-rings only arrived today, that's why only a 4 star review at the moment. However, they do look substantial, and installation was quite easy. For now I just need the rings to hold a tarp that covers items being taken to the local landfill, where the requirement is that every load be tarped. The rings low on the inside of the truck bed were difficult to reach once the bed had been loaded. Having these d-rings on the top rail should make it much easier to securely fasten the tarp. Assuming that it doesn't rain tomorrow I will find out as I have enough junk assemble to fill the truck again.
I've been using these for a few months now. Installation was easy and the rings are nice and sturdy. My 2018 Ram 1500 only has rings in the lower corners of the bed, so these open up a lot of options as far as securing cargo. I would recommend installing the screws with some thread locker, as mine began to back out. They're easy to re-tighten, but it would be a pain if you were to lose a screw.
We ordered these for our 2017 Ram 3500 long bed. The package included 6 tie-downs for each stake pocket. The installation was a breeze! These are very well made and now give us a place to attach our cargo net for dump runs and use ratchet straps for furniture moving. Highly recommend these.

I installed two of the 4 in be side of my truck. No instructions but pretty simple to figure out. Just take out the two bolts, fit the bullring in place and tighten down the bolts. Easy as pie. MY truck is a 2007 Toyota Tundra Limited edition in Mint shape. This adds to the truck.
Relatively easy install.
However, there is a little slop between the plastic trim and the Pocket D-Rings.
Most likely Toyota had to be a bit different in their "standard" sizing.

Look and work great so much easier then trying to find the bed hooks with bungee cords or ratchet straps
The Bullrings worked great. You should let people know that they are easily installed on top of a bedliner. I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra LTD that has a factory installed bedliner; I was worried that the Bullrings would not fit because of the extra space created by the bed liner and the body of the truck. But no problem, the Bullrings slid right in on top of the bed liner and they look great, too. I am attaching a photo for proof.
