These 1,000-lb capacity truck bed rail tie down anchors stay out of sight and out of the way when you don't need them and snap up when you want to haul. They give tie downs a better angle of pull than factory anchors and are easier to reach.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at these Bull Ring flush fit retractable tie-down anchors for truck beds stake pockets. These heavy duty anchors are going to attach to your truck bed stake pockets and provide tie-down points to secure your load. Working with S hook and J hook connections. Now these are custom fit parts that are designed to fit the 2014 to 2017 Toyota Tundra regular cab and the 2014 and newer Toyota Tundra crew max and double cab and the 2016 to 2017 Ram 1500 regular cab, the 2016 to 2017 Ram 2500 crew cab, mega cab, and regular cab.
The 2016 and newer Ram 3500 crew cab, mega cab, and regular cab. The 2017 Ram 1500 crew cab and quad cab. And then finally, the 2019 and newer Ram 1500 classic crew cab, quad cab, and regular cab. To confirm that these are going to work for your vehicle. Take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com and input the year, make and model of your vehicle.
And our fit guide will let you know if these will work for your truck or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, while factory anchor points are inside the bed of your truck, where it can be hard to reach these retractable anchor points install in the stake pockets on top of your bed rails and you would just simply pop the anchor ring up like this. And then as you could hear that click it locks into place, and then this is going to be ready to use to secure your load. And then when you're done and you don't need them anymore you just simply push it down. And then that will go back.
And that anchor point will be nice and flush with the rest of your bedrail. So lemme show that to you again, just pull this ring up give it a nice pull, and then that's going to lock that ring into place. And then when you're done, just hit it down and it's going to be nice and flush. This flush fit is compatible with most tonneau covers and these anchors have a weight capacity of a thousand pounds. They're constructed of stainless steel that are going to resist rust and corrosion, and the nylon lower body is going to reduce sound.
Now the insulation is going to be quick and easy and it requires nothing more than a Phillips head screwdriver. First, you're going to remove any plastic cap that covers the stake pocket on the bed rails of your truck. And then you're gonna use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen these two screws in the anchor so that this steel plate will drop down. And then you're going to place the anchor into the stake pocket at an angle. And then you're going to pull the anchor ring up. And that steel plate is going to catch the metal rail cap below, and then tighten down the Phillips screws until they are hand tight. You don't wanna over tighten these. If the plastic rail cap is starting to bend or bow then that's going to be too tight. Now these do have a lifetime warranty and you are going to receive four tie down anchors as you see here but if you only need two of these, and you don't need a complete set of four we do sell these in a quantity of two. And I am including our item number to the package of two of these. If that's all that you need just take that item number and put it in the search field of our website here at etrailer.com. And it'll take you to just two of these instead of four. Well overall, this is a great idea. I love the ease of use especially since they're gonna be very easy to install. And so I think this is gonna do, if this meets all the specs that you're looking for or this is gonna fit your vehicle I think this will be a great option for you to consider. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

Perfect fit and just what I needed. You can never have too may tie-down points.
I use these all the time. Super easy to install. The only reccomendation is that they would pop up and stay up if wanted. as they are now you need to pull the loop up and hook our rope or strap or they will retract by Gravity.
GREAT PRODUCT! ETRAILER PROVIDES GREAT SERVICE AND THE SHIPPING IS LIGHTNING FAST!
Fit good, easy install, and feel rugged. Installed on 2022 F150 (aluminum body) but no galvanic barrier was supplied to prevent contact between lower steel bracket and aluminum bed rail. Simple fix with strips of electrical tape.
Work exactly as expected
These Bullring tie downs work very well with securing a load in my truck bed. Made of good quality materials and easy to install. This is my second set I've installed on my F-150's. I would recommend these for any truck.
The product seems great. The problem is that the instructions tells you to go to a link for help installing, and that site isn't active anymore. Also, e-trailer nor the manufacturer tell you to order a router kit to cut out the overhang from where your bedstakes are located. But I'm guessing these will be nice once I get them installed.
Although these d-rings are easy to install, and fit in the stake pockets, I believe they are meant for truck beds with bed rails, because when I tightened them down, they were still slightly loose, and my truck bed has no rails. It would help if this was noted on the product page.
Great fit. Doesn’t require all that much trimming but can take a little force to get them in.
It is perfect! Super easy to install
Should work fine.
Solid product!
Quick easy install
Fit and finish was great. Worked like it was supposed to.
Fit is Awesome, Very Easy to install. Love the fact that they pop down when NOT needed to maintain a flush bed rail,
I highly recommend to all that read this - BUY BUY BUY !!!
I had these retractable d-rings on my precious truck and they are ideal for securing tall loads or loads on rope of my hard bed cover. Had to have more to install on my new pickup truck.
Metal plate could be thicker or stronger. Bends if screws are tightened too much (HAND TIGHTENED WITH PHILIPS SCREWDRIVER).
They installed easily and look good. They have worked very well for me in securing what I would consider to be light to medium loads. I personally have not utilized the pocket D-Rings in a heavy load application and probably never will
Seems heavy duty until you tighten it down, the flush mount tie downs I got start to bend when tightened. I didn’t hulk it, just reasonably tightened and noticed the stainless top portion was bending. Seems like it will be fine for my purposes as I’ll only be tying down a tent and an EZ up on top of my tonneau cover, but for close to $90 I’d expect something rock solid.
I installed these on my 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz. At first I could not get them to drop down into the stake pocket. Removing the screws entirely solved that problem. Then I began to tighten the screws, I had grabbed a common Phillips head screwdriver but quickly realized that it was not engaging well with the screw head and was beginning to damage the head when it kept popping out. I recall watching some Youtube videos and that was happening to the installer using a driver drill and popping a lot, but he did not appear to notice and/or care. I very soon stopped and got a Phillips head # 3 (the first was the more common #2), that made a world of difference. Apparently on older Santa Cruz the area over the stake pocket had to be cut out either with a knife or a dremel. For my model/year it was much easier as they just popped out with a quick pry from a small flat head screwdriver. The one complaint I have is the stainless steel flange on the bull ring does not quite completely cover the hole made by removing the stake pocket cover. It is very close but I wish it had at least an 1/8' overlap and it does not, that lack of fit causes a slight bend in the flange.
Exactly what I was looking for! These fit with my Alsport aluminum bed cover just fine. Didn’t even need to take it off to install. Combined with some soft straps I’ll be able to strap loads on top of the tonneau without having to take it off. 2024 F150 Super Crew with 6’7” bed.
I don’t use the tie downs often, but when needed they come in VERY handy. I like the trim appearance. Much nicer than big rings sticking up from the sides of the bed.
You’ll need a router to do this efficiently on a Ram truck. You can do it with a box cutter knife but it would be a lot of work. They are awesome and I already used them!
Very good bull rings. I use them everyday without any problems.
