This heavy-duty camera is made to work seamlessly with a Brandmotion FLTW-2000 video mirror or FLTW-2100 7" video monitor (sold separately). Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this heavy duty AHD backup camera for your brand motion observation systems. Now this is a high definition rear observation and backup camera. This is designed to give you a much wider view behind your vehicle than a standard backup camera. With this 140 degree viewing angle, this is going to eliminate many of the blind spots that are directly behind your RV, trailer, or truck, making it a whole lot easier to see vehicles, obstacles, and pedestrians when backing up or maneuvering.
So this camera is designed to work specifically with Brandmotion's FLTW-2000 video mirror, or the FLTW-2100 monitor. Those items are sold separately from this, but this camera is intended as part of a complete camera system rather than just a standalone camera. Now, one feature that is going to make parking easier is the ability to turn the parking guidelines on or off. So if you like visual reference lines while backing into a campsite or parking space, they're gonna be available, but you can also disable them if you prefer a cleaner camera view. Unlike many backup cameras, this model includes a built-in microphone, which I believe that's what that is right there.
That's gonna allow you to hear a spotter giving you directions from outside your vehicle, and that can be especially helpful when backing up a large RV or trailer into tight spaces. This camera also performs well in low light conditions, giving you clear, detailed images even around dawn, dusk, or in poorly lit parking lots. It captures video at 1920 by 1080, full HD resolution. So what that means for you is the image is gonna be sharp and detailed. Durability is going to be another strong point.
This camera does carry an IP69K, waterproof and dustproof rating, which is one of the highest levels of environmental protection available. This means this is built to handle heavy rain, road spray dust and harsh outdoor conditions without issue. Insulation is going to be supported by this included, well right here, rather 18 inch camera pigtail. And what I was getting to here was this 65.5 foot video extension cable, giving you enough length for both RV trailer and large vehicle applications. It includes everything that you see here.
As you can see, mounting bracket is included as well, but this is going to be an all metal construction here, so it's going to be very durable. You might like some measurements. I did not take any before our time together, so let me just give you some right here on the spot. Measuring the widest point here and that's gonna be this top bracket here or top plate here, rather, we're sitting a little over three inches wide. The overall depth, just roughly end to end, not including the pigtail that's coming out is gonna be almost two and a quarter inches deep. And then the overall height, pretty close to about three inches. These are just some rough measurements just to give you a good idea of the size, what to expect. But I think it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
