A boat that refuses to slide is enough to ruin a good morning of fishing. Cutting drag with every launch, this low-maintenance bunk wrap lets your boat glide smoothly off and on your trailer, giving you more time on the water than at the ramp.
If you're tired of replacing your boat trailer bunk carpets and are trailering a raw aluminum boat, pontoon, or personal watercraft (PWC), this bunk wrap is a smart upgrade. It holds up better than carpet and makes loading and unloading easier. However, if you have a fiberglass or painted hull, the hard plastic surface of this bunk wrap could scuff it up. If you don't want to take a chance damaging it with these plastic slides, we still have a solution for you - Caliber's Slydz-On lubricating spray (CA97AJ) will help you keep your carpets slick.
This wrap's slick surface reduces friction, so instead of cranking your boat off sticky bunks, your boat will glide on and off the trailer with less effort. That means less strain on your ropes, pulleys, bow eyes, and your arms! Plus, a built-in lubricant keeps everything moving smoothly and helps reduce wear on your equipment.
Because this bunk wrap is made from high-impact plastic, this wrap won't fray, fade, or break down like traditional carpet does. And where carpet can soak up water that can cause mildew or rot, these wraps won't. They also won't trap sand, mud, weeds, or transport invasive species. It's a cleaner, lower-maintenance option made to hold up through years of loading and unloading. Plus, this kit comes with end caps. Not only will your bunks have a clean, seamless look, you won't have to deal with exposed carpet staples and they help prevent board rot.
You'll need to remove the carpet from your bunks before installing these wraps, but once they're on, you're done. No maintenance required. Start with the included endcaps, then use the hook-and-loop straps to hold the wrap in place while you secure it with the included hardware. If the wrap feels stiff out of the box, let it sit in the sun to relax. And if there's a little overlap when you wrap it around your boards, it trims easily for a perfect fit.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at these caliber bunk wrap kits for your boat trailers. Now, these wraps are going to replace the old carpet on your bunks, and this is gonna be ideal for raw aluminum boats, pontoons, and personal water craft. And these wraps are going to help reduce the strain on your ropes, your pulleys, and your bow eyes, and even your arms by reducing the friction and making it easier to load and unload your boat. Now we do have several different size options and color options available for you depending on your application.
So on your screen you see that we do offer these in 16-foot long kits, that's what I have here on my table before me. You can get these for your two by four, or your two by six is what I have here, either in black or light gray. And then we also have 24-foot long options, again, for your two by fours or two by six, and in the same color options, black or light gray. So whichever option is going to work best for you, you can just take the part number and pop it in the search field of our website and that will take you to the kit that you are looking for. I do also wanna mention that if you're a dealer and if you're looking for larger rolls, we do have 250-foot long options, but those rolls do not come with the matching end caps or hardware to install these.
So if you are looking for those larger options, you can find 'em here at etrailer.com. Now, these wraps are constructed of hard plastic material that is integrated with lubricant to further help reduce friction. And I have kind of a small example here of what the finished product is going to look like here over a small board here. So the plastic is going to be very strong and durable, and again, it has that integrated lubricant within to help reduce that friction. And these wraps are also going to help benefit the environment because they don't carry invasive species, bacteria, or dirt like carpet typically does.
And this is going to be really an easy installation. You're just going to install the wraps over the boards. And I wanted to point out that these kits do come with hook and loop straps. You're gonna use these straps to secure the wrap around the board itself while you drive the screws in through the wrap and through the board. Now, if you notice in my sample here, I have staples here.
That's just for demonstration purposes. You're actually going to use the stainless steel screws. And then once you have the screws installed, you'll just remove the straps, but again, you're gonna get the end caps as well. So this is really going to give you a really nice finished look. And instructions are included to guide you through the really easy installation process. Now, if you do happen to have a gel coat or fiberglass or painted aluminum hull and you're concerned about scratching or scuffing the hull of your boat, I would recommend sticking with the carpeted bunks and picking up Caliber Slydz-On spray there that you see there on your screen. And that's just going to spray on your bunks and it's gonna help reduce friction between your bunks and watercraft. So loading is going to be easier. So if you're looking for a different option, an alternative option to carpeted bunk boards, and you're looking for something that's going to hold up better than carpet and really help reduce the friction while loading and unloading your boat on your trailer, these kits are really gonna be a great option for you to consider. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Very easy to use and quick
Easy to install. Works great.
Kits look high quality and complete. Haven't had a chance to install yet but should be simple. Customer service was excellent in assisting with my order quantity.
Seems to work well will be trying it out with my pontoon this weekend when we take our boat out of the lake
good product
This product is very well made and easy to install. The hardest part was stripping the old carpet off the bunk boards. They should consider adding some extra hardware to secure the underside of the bunk wrap instead of just the sides.
