Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at our CE Smith keel roller for your boat trailers. Folks, this is considered a self-centering keel roller, and it is made of a nice polyurethane construction. So when I say self-centering, as you can see, you've got these grooves in here. And so let's say you set the boat heel down here.
Obviously as it's rolling in, it's gonna help push it over right into that center, which is where you want it. So again, whether you're over here or over here and you start it off, it's gonna fall in that groove naturally and keep going until it's centered. And then it's just gonna stay in that center pocket here groove. So very nice design. I think it's pretty nice.
This replaces one worn or damaged keel roller, or maybe you just upgrade to this because you like the style and the fact that it's gonna be a self-centering. It's not gonna scratch, scuff or mark your boat's hull. It works great in fresh and salt water alike. It's 12-inch wide, I'm sorry, rather, it's a 12-inch wide bracket with a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. The dimensions of this are actually 11 3/8 inches long by 2 13/16 in diameter.
Well, folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together at this CE Smith keel roll for bolt trailers, self-centering. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
