Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional
10/10 does the job very well and was easy to install myself (be careful about airbags). Saved me a large custom job bill. Worth the price and functions perfectly. I purchased with the connecting cord/plug for my vehicle and it was seriously the easiest thing to install. Two plugs ins, screwed into my lower dash and done.
I purchased and installed the P3 controller in a 2018 Toyota Highlander XLE after reading many great reviews about it. Wanted a hard wired controller vs. wireless because a brake controller is too important to run over an unreliable wireless connection. Having an IT background I know how unpredictable wireless connections can be. Installation was fairly easy, the hardest part was running a few wires through the firewall of the vehicle. A few notes, the installation of the actual controller under the steering wheel area was a little difficult because of the design of the mounting bracket. This could be designed better for easier installation. Also, I got a pre-collision warning on my instrument cluster whenever the brake controller was activated. To fix this I had to solder a 1 amp diode on the red cable, which I protected with heat shrink. I reached out to tech support about this error and they were very helpful talking me through a solution. I like the adjustment capabilities of the controller. I have been able to adjust it so the brakes don't grab when stopping slowly. I really like the manual slide for activating the brakes. This has been very useful for applying brakes on the trailer in a few critical braking moments. The manual lever is also very useful for checking the brakes after connecting the trailer to make sure they are working correctly. I also like that the display shows the level of braking that's applied to the trailer. The color of the back-lit display can also be adjusted to match the vehicle's displays. I definitely recommend this brake controller.

Tekonsha POD Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Time Delayed
We have a Honda Ridgeline and needed this for our camper trailer. It was nice ordering the specific plug in wire for the Ridgeline and therefore eliminating hard wiring, just plugged it in. It was rough getting to the factory plug under the dash by the emergency brake petal switch. My hands are not small enough, ha ha. But success was had. Plugged into the controller and mounted it and u-wall-a. It works the way it is suppose to, I like that. A good quality unit that does what it is suppose to. thanks.
Very happy with this product. It fit nicely in my truck and plugged right into the factory wiring harness. Total installation time was under an hour. Easy to adjust, and works perfectly with my 5th wheel trailer. I simply pulled out the little storage cubby from the dash, cut the back off, slid the controller in, bolted it together, and stuck it all back in the dash. Looks and works great.

Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller - Trailer Mount w Remote - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional
Shipping was super quick! Installed the unit in 15 minutes. Mounted it on a tongue toolbox versus drilling the frame. Haven't paired it to my motorhome yet. Thanks E-Trailer, everything I have purchased from you guys has been exceptional and your customer service is great!
Before ordering I had reservations about the price of the controller. After the controller arrived very fast and I installed on trailer easily, I was using it from out the box with no programming problems. The controller works great without all the labor of installing past controllers on vehicles.

Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller - Dash Knob - Up to 2 Axles - Proportional
Being new to towing a larger trailer requires research. After doing a lot of it, both through user reviews and manufacturer websites, we landed on the Rearc Liberty Brake Controller for our Tacoma. We have just over 1000 miles towing with this unit. It has performed extremely well. Towing for us includes city, highway, mountains, and even off-road to access our mountain home. Installation was straight forward and the ability to install the controller in virtually any position is an added bonus. I was able to install the dash knob in a blank panel giving the Tacoma a factory appearance, and controller located under drivers seat. I installed this unit on a non tow package Tacoma, so wiring was a bit intimidating at first. But using etrailer’s web site as a reference had everything operational in a couple afternoons. Great product so far and we look for years of use. Highly recommend.
Its simple and fits in the dash like it should be there. It controls the trailer as it should. it only lights up when the trailer is connected so you don't see any annoying light during normal driving. I would recommend, it has worked for me. installed in a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller - Trailer Mount w/ Remote Fob - Up to 3 Axles - Proportional
Works great. Would recommend practicing with it before hitting the road because it does act a little different than a regular brake controller. Requires a little more effort on braking for it to engage.
After installing this controller, towing my trailer has become so easy! I just plug in the electrical cable to my truck and go. If I need to adjust the braking strength, the remote on my keychain makes it simple with just a few clicks. This is much better than the Echo controller I was using. I love it!

Dexter Predator DX2 Trailer Brake Controller - Up to 2 Axles - Proportional
I am very satisfied with the Dexter Axle Predator Electric Brake controller. I purchased the Dexter brake controller to be compatible with Dexter car trailer axles on a 16 foot car hauler. The braking unit is very useful when towing in very steep and winding mountain terrain. I feel that the braking is a necessary safety item when towing in a hilly or mountainous environment and the Dexter Predator brake controller provides the great control and driver peace of mind knowing that a heavy load can be managed. The unit installs very easily with the proper adapter.
My brake controller was a great match for my needs. I have a 4 brake trailer which gets the proper control from my Dexter unit. From empty weight to heavy load the adjustment is just a slight roll of the knob. I like the digital read out so I can glance down to check system operations. It does great f or me and fit right in to the factory wire set up in my truck

Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness - Dash Knob - Proportional
The only reason I did 4 was because the kit has you drill two holes, it mentions a template for drilling but none was included. I had to use the measurements in mm and pick a bit because it detail what size. Start small. Where I installed the switch there is some reinforcement that I had to dremel to get it installed but this the location Ford indicated. 23 Ranger Tremor.
The brake controller works very well. Originally I had a Curt that I was hitting my knee on and switched to the Redarc. The only little complaint is that I wish the led light were a little brighter, other than that works great on my 2014 Ram 1500.

Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional
Make sure you read into it further to make sure you are buying all the parts needed to make it work. Will need to add another Tuson Heavy Duty Truck Module Kit for DirecLink Brake Controller - 16 Pin 335HDCON-16PIN to make it work on HD Trucks.
Perfect for my application.

Curt Echo Under-Dash Bluetooth Brake Controller w/ OneControl App - Up to 4 Axles - Proportional
The break controller worked seamlessly. Profiles are easy to set up and it has very reliable Bluetooth connectivity with my phone. Installation was really easy on my Honda Pilot!
This is my first proportional brake controller. Stopping is much smoother without sacrificing safety. Communication by bluetooth makes for a clean installation.

Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller for Tekonsha Harness - Off-Road Mode - Proportional
This worked perfect in our 2020 Acura MDX. Love how it looks and operates. I removed the center council (see link to video on how to below) and mounted everything in there. The control knob looks great and is out of the way. I removed the 12 volt charger port and put the knob in its place. The only catch was it was not easy to find the fuse for the brake controller. After research and trial and error, I found the fuse was #17 in the rear fuse box. I appreciate the great service and support from etrailer.
Purchased a 22' R-Pod 192 TT to pull behind my 2019 Benz GLS450 with a factory tow package. It was equipped with the "green brake connector" located by the left kick panel. Contacted etrailer to help choose the correct combination of parts for my vehicle. Was suggested the Redarc EBRH-ACCV3-NA Brake Controller and a TPH-017 Wire Harness. Once products were received, still needed a harness from the green connector to the unit. Wrote to manufacturer in Australia and was told also needed etrailer part number 3066-P. Ordered. Now had everything needed. However, where to mount the switch? One individual with the same Benz mounted it next to the cup holders, but he didn't have a switch for the cold/hot--I did. There was no where else to drill a 1" hole. Got an L-bracket from hardware store and modified it to accommodate the switch. Mounted the main unit securely to the underside of the dash panel and used 3M Dual Lock tape to attach it--no holes to drill. Haven't had an opportunity to tow yet; however, did follow the instructions for the initial "learn" by driving and braking without a trailer attached. Been quite a challenge, but happy with the results and support from manufacturer and etrailer. Happy Camping!
