Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver
This has worked great to reduce my 2" hitch so that I can continue to use my 1 1/4" Thule bike rack, and I like that it doesn't extend out much from the hitch. After my last trip though, the inset separated from the larger piece. I can still use it, but without the smaller piece fixed in place, I can't put it on the car first and then slide the bike rack into it since the smaller piece slides, and it's impossible to line the holes up. It's also rusted more than I expected. It wasn't inexpensive, and I was hoping it would last longer. I've used it for maybe a dozen trips.
Perfect fit BUT the inner tube broke away from the outer tube after about a dozen trips. One small weld on the outside corner is all that holds it on. The small amount of play must have been too much for it. I was even using an anti-rattle lock pin. Very disappointing due to the price point. And now it’s unsafe to use as it could slip right out of the receiver.

Advantage SportsRack Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 11" Long
This is a very good product. However you need to be careful what vehicle and bike rack that you intend to use with it. My vehicles 2" hitch was not hollow past the end and the hitch extender bottomed in the hitch before the 2nd hole could be lined up and used. So the 2nd hole on the vehicle side was unusable. Then using the Swagman Chinook 2 bike rack I found that the bike rack hitch could not be inserted deep enough into this hitch extender to be able to use the 2nd hole in the extender, on the rack side. With that situation I was not able to use the 2 holes that would get the bike rack installed in the shortest distance from the rear of the. vehicle.
Bought this for the front hitch on a John Deere gator. The winch got in the way of the hitch, so a minor extension was needed. This is the perfect product. Use front hitch for positioning boats in my garage for winter storage. Works great for this application - short moves, not towing as this product is not certified for towing. Recommended.

MaxxTow Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter - 2" to 1-1/4" Hitch - 11" Long
Installed my 2” hitch but don’t have a 2” bike trailer yet. I purchased this to continue to use my 1.25” bike trailer (until I find a deal). Used this over Thanksgiving weekend on I35 in Texas (tons of traffic)and I’m very pleased with the performance. I’m was secure and bikes traveled just fine.
I ordered this adapter from e-Trailer so I could extend my bike rack past my spare tire on my 2005 Honda CRV. This solved my problem and this thing is well made to take the weight. I'm glad I purchased from e-trailer because I know now that they sell quality products as I have also purchased a new receiver, ball mount and 2' ball to pull my trailer. If your goal is quality, great service and fast shipping then e-Trailer is one company to go with.

Love the rack and the folks at e-trailer got it to me remarkably fast. Everything looked great set up for the most part. The directions were very clear and it required minimal effort.
Shipped ahead of schedule in excellent condition. Kuat Pivot is built extremely well, heavy duty, and looks sharp.

Stout and well executed. EASY to install. Could use some ergonomic tweaks (I’m 70), but overall is a very good value. We’ll see, cuz we haven’t gone 10K miles yet... etrailer rocks btw

Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks - 2" Hitches - Passenger's Side
Excellent product, solidly built and easy to install. I was hesitant because of the full size spare tire on the back ladder. The videos and the specifications (especially the sizing details) gave me all the info I needed to make the decision to install it on my Sprinter. The swing away rack gives me full access to the rear of the vehicle. I wish I had bought it sooner.
Exactly what I was looking for. Can swing the bikes out of the way to access the truck bed. Locks back into position and I am not worried about it being secure.

Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks - 2" Hitches
On our first trip the hitch worked wonderfully, but our bike rack failed us. On our second trip, the hitch bolts loosened and we constantly had to check to make sure it was not loose. Very disappointed in both products. We had them put on our vehicle by my adult son, who works with machinery. The product was poorly made and designed. This was not the fault of the user or the person who attached the hitch and rack.
Solid, bullet proof, yet the convenient swing away allows unrestricted access to the back of my vehicle. It is heavy, but being made of steel, it holds a heavy load. I have an old solid steel Thule rack that I modified so that I can move the bike carrier bars 180 degrees - from the traditional position carrying the bikes away from the car and carrier, or flipped over so that the bike carriers rest on my spare and carry the bikes between the rack and the car. This allows me to carry very heavy bikes, such as e-bikes compactly without extending the length of my vehicle much, and still allowing me to use the swing away feature of the Yamaha extender. Photo shows a light road bike on the hitch, but it works equally as well with heavier or multiple bikes.

Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks - 2" Hitches
Already have a Sris bike rack, has been an excellent rack and well be compatible with this hitch, both very well built
Love it! It swings out of the way so I can get the back door open. The other advantage is it allows the back door to be open a few inches at night (when the hitch is in the locked position) for airflow when it’s hot.
