I guess you get what you pay for. They were easy to install on my Tahoe. The driver side works well as I can see behind my Travel trailer. The passenger side just doesn't work for me. Its a flat mirror (Not convex) so field of view is very limited, I just cant find the right position for it. I also find it a bit confusing as there are now 4 different mirrors to focus on. I think the ultimate solution are the larger telescoping units. But of course they cost more and installation is more involved. I don't trailer that much so I can live with these. Oh, one little annoying thing is they whistle when the window is down(Quiet when the windows are up). I think its the sharp edge. On the plus side removal is quick so when you don't need them they come off easily when not needed.

I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 and the CIPA towing mirrors fit perfectly. I took my time putting them on as suggest by over Product Reviews, and did not have a problem.

Good afternoon, i received the Custom Towing Mirrors the other day and they arrived unharmed. When i looked at each mirror i recognized that the plastic portion of the mirror was injected molded, that is not a bad thing. But having over twenty-five years of injection molding experience i have to wonder and question the manufacturer’s quality inspection system. The flaw that i see is on both mirrors because it is the point or ‘gate’ as it is known in the business, where the molten plastic comes into the mold to fill the cavity. In each case the area is marred by what is known as ‘splay’, which by no means lessens the functionality, but does take away from the beauty of the finished product. Quality control should have never let these items out of their hands, unless of course they really do not give a hoot! i do think your products are worthy of better presentation. I bought both sides for my 2011 silverado and they look really good they look like they are factory mirrors install very quickly about 1 minute a side and they still allow the mirror to fold in if need be and they don't hit the side of the truck when folded in they fit my needs just fine the only complaint I have is the mirror itself could be bigger its about 1/3 the size of my factory mirror you have a decent blind spot when using them you just have to check yourself and its not a problem other than that they fit my needs well and come on and off quickly so they work really well if you don't tow 247 but it you tow very often like for a living I would recommend the full replacement ones cause they have less blindspot but if you tow every now and then they will suit your needs just fine I would recommend this product it you tow every now and then

The slip-on mirrors that I ordered fit snugly over the existing mirrors. As a Canadian, I was a bit anxious about ordering the mirrors from an American company in case they didn't fit, however your videos and sizing according to the vehicle year, and model made it reassuring that the product would work. I'm really happy with the mirrors, and look forward to using them for many years to come.

Exceeded expectations as a add on to the factory mirrors for both a Chevy Silverado truck and a Ford F150. It appears the extension is a perfect match and functional solution for trailer towing without the expenditure of new mirrors. Etrailer was not only the greatest value for this product from any internet site or regional store supply, but they also beat their date of delivery by six days on a UPS business delivery. I will definetly use etrailer for future purchases!!

I bought the towing mirror to replace one that got damaged. I like the mirror and was pleased that I found the replacement at etrailer.com. The site was easy to use and the order was quickly filled.

This was exactly the mirror I was looking for to match the existing Driver's side. The product has been improved since my last one which blew off from being loose anyhow while this one is engineered better and gives a good view of the blind side of the trailer and right lane. Good for corners and space back ins!!

Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.

I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

So far, so good. I received the CIPA mirrors today and immediately installed them. Installation instructions are straight forward. I took a test drive of about 15 miles; there was no noticeable shake or rattle and the mounts did not loosen. As with factory curbside mirrors, objects are closer than they appear with the CIPA mirrors, too. Our first trip towing is a couple weeks from now. I will update my review after the trip.

The view is excellent. The mirrors do not vibrate. In speeds over 50mph, the tube would turn inside the clamps and the mirrors would turn upward, making them useless. Solution: I cut off a finger from a nitrile rubber glove and pushed it over the tube. Now the mirrors stay put.

Unable to tighten mirror clamps enough to eliminate mirror from shaking, preventing clear image while driving.

The mirrors were just what I needed and work well on my Toyota highlander.

As usual etrailer provided great service and prompt shipping. The product appears as described however I have not installed them.

Installation was very easy and secure. On test run there was no vibration angles remain constant for easy rearview examination

They are very easy to install and remove when parked for extended periods. Costumer service was very helpful with getting me the correct marrows.

Great product! I use them on all my trailers as well as my travel trailer. This is actually me second set...the first got destroyed by a hit n run and i could not live without them!

So far this might do the trick . A bit concerned on stability after long trip .. we shall see in time !! The passenger side is not as tight as drivers .. again time will tell .

The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!

First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.

I would like it to be extendable a bit further on the passenger side. The driver's side is fine though. The passenger side does not let one see far enough away from the side of the trailer. All in all, I like it better than drilling holes into the doors of my pickup to install huge mirrors. These look way better and are sufficient.

Only used twice as I found Tundra's stock mirrors were more than adequate for camper we were towing. I found mirrors were finicky to install without marring stock mirrors and never had a good feeling about security even though I never lost one at highway speeds.

For the money, these work really well. My Tundra really needed these so I could see for lane changes with our 23’ travel trailer. I don’t notice any excessive vibration they makes it difficult to see. The only knock on them is making sure you get the insert lined up correctly when you’re putting them on. If it’s not lined up right they can work loose and fall off, but it’s as much operator error as it is design flaw.

Good concept but, functionally does not perform. I ordered custom mirrors for my 2024 Silverado which has cameras on the mirror and the slip ons covered them up. Also, the mirrors do not have enough adjustment for me to see the side of my trailer. I thought custom meant that these would take into account the actual equipment on my truck.

When installed they look better than any other add on mirror. The wedge that goes behind the lock screw takes a little time to get aligned, but theses mirrors did not move at all on a 1100 mile trip and did not require any re-tightening. They gave a good view of trailer and I am very satisfied with them.
