Most Popular Rhino Rack for 2023 Honda HR-V

Been wanting to get a roof rack for my small Honda H-RV suv for some time now. Finally decided to pull the trigger on one and opted for this Rhino rack system. Watching the etrailer install video and following the manufacturer's instruction, the front rack went on easily and perfectly. However, the rear track turned out to be a very long process. Why? Because I thought the manufacturer's measurements for the rear was an error. After the rack was assembled, it didn't seat into the roof channel at all. It appeared to be well short. So, I proceeded to use my mechanical ingenuity to get this rack to fit on my own. After a lengthy span of time and numerous adjustments, I'd come to realize that the manufacturer's measurements were correct. The footing did not sit perfectly until the unit was fully tightened against the vehicle. Live and learn.....once again. The rack is absolutely solid, and looks very clean and sharp on top of the H-RV. I could not detect any additional noise while driving, even at highway speed. The main purpose of this roof rack was for transporting my recreational kayak. I was not aware that these bars had a rubber strip running along the entire top of the bar. This turned out to be perfect for the kayak. Now, I didn't need to buy a specific kayak cradle. The kayak, one strapped down, is held absolutely secured to the rack. I am very happy with this product! Once again, etrailer comes through perfectly with another of my order. Prompt service and indepth product info are the reasons why I shop here!

The whole kit fits great on my Honda HR-V. Assembly was simple and mounting took about 15 minutes. My Kayaks fit well and securely. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I put 3 stars because its a useful functional non-harmful roof rack solution for my WRX sedan. This review lost 2 stars because the rubber top pieces get damaged upon any accessory removal or install like(bike, snowboard rails etc). Additionally, these accessories also look to be weathering quickly because of build quality. Hopefully this helps your decision! Thanks

The Rhino Racks Vortex Aero are solid. My first drive with them was to Brighton Utah from Riverside California. They were not only secure throughout the drive and hard winds, they were also reasonably quiet. On top I attached a Thule Force L 628 roof box and it fits perfectly. The only complaints I have are how difficult it was to install the racks to my fixed points. It took several friends, a mechanic, and two days to get everything right.

Bought and installed on my 2019 Honda Fit. I’ve driven from Chicago to Big Bend in TX and to the Black Hills in SD with a cargo box attached and have had zero issues. Installation is simple enough and are easy to take off when needed.

The crossbars came together with all mounting hardware, platforms and legs. Evertyhing arrived together in short time and was raasonably easy to assemble. The quality is good and solid, and all at a good price. A year later, they still look great and perform well. I highly recommend purchasing from etrailer.

Great looking bar. Would have gave it a five star except the instructions for a 2018 Honda HRV have a lot to be desired. Roof rails were factory installed with no bolts pointed up for Rhino racks mounting. Had to rework factory mounts with straight threaded rods in order for Rhino installation to attach to Honda roof rails.

Makes little noise. Was easy to to put together. Use the correct washer. Recommend putting the rubber stripping on the bars first. If you don't have T30 screw a T27 works. Must download the directions for HRV, ones given are not good. Seems stronger than the clamp-on racks. I'm moving the front brace back, because it blocks the view from my moon roof. But it narrows the rack capacity. But traveling short distances should be fine.

We have been very happy with our Rhino Rack system atop our 2018 Chevy Express Van. We carry 2 Kayaks ( sit in style, 14 ft and 12 ft) upside down on the van roof and use some eye bolts and ladder supports with ratchet straps to hold them in place. It took a while to get them( due to being out of stock) but eTrailer has excellent customer service and kept in touch with us on the order status until they arrived.

Crossbars are true and straight. Work perfect for my application. Reliable product. Mounted solar panels to them.

These are the perfect racks for a low profile mounting of solar panels on my Sprinter van.

This works great. Very strong and reliable. Holds my ladders with ease. I’ve had it loaded down and done 80mph on the highway no problem.
