This B & W hitch along with etrailer should be setting the standard for the rest of the manufacturing and e-commerce societies. The quality, craftsmanship and engineering behind this hitch are second to none. The product is not made cheaply therefore it is not priced cheap. You truly get what you pay for and this is no exception. As seen in the attached photo of the new hitch tucked nicely under my 2015 GMC 2500HD I changed the included pins to lynch pins.

Best hitch for the $$$.

I've used the hitch over the last year on several trailers and loads. The adjustability made towing a much better feel and ride over a fixed hitch that at times not the greatest. I see no wear, very easy to adjust even once coupled to the trailer and finding the trailer needs to be leveled better.

Works flawlessly. I was very excited the day I got home and my Rapid hitch was on the front porch. It came in nice box and was packaged very well. I opened it up and unpacked my rapid hitch and I was very impressed with the quality and precision of this hitch. All of the machining was PERFECT and everything fit together right. I put it in my truck right away. Going down the road with the trailer on and off there is absolutely no rattles, clunks, or jolts. I also love how everything is aluminum or stainless steel, NO RUST. I wish I could've gotten the greaseless model but my boat is too heavy. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with locking pins. With a hitch this expensive I really wish it came with them. Do yourself a favor and order them with your rapid hitch so you don't have to pay for shipping in the future. Other than that great product and I believe it will outlast me.

'Haven't towed with it yet, but can tell it has tight tolerances and will be durable. Watch your fingers when switching from tow to stow!

Just received my order; quality looks great and very strong. I really like that this is American made using American steel. I read excellent reviews on this model and had considered an aluminum adjustable ball mount before purchasing this one. I had read reviews on the aluminum models that they become loose and sloppy over time. Not so with these steel ones. Can't wait to use it. Love the versatility that this unit offers. I can use it with all my different trailers and also a variety of trucks. Ball mount includes white lithium grease to lube the retaining pins.

Just received this mount and did the test fit with our trailer. We have not hit the road with it yet but I am confident it will perform perfectly. I am anxious to see how the cushioned feature works. We pull a box cargo trailer for business and just got a new Chevy HD pickup to tow with. It has a 2.5" receiver and hitch height is much greater than the Suburban we were using plus it had a 2" receiver. This mount is rated for far more weight than we will ever need but it was the only 2.5" size with 6" drop that I could find. We are very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service we got at etrailer. These hitches are the best! And I scanned the world over to find only hitches that are made in USA like I do every product I buy. This is a very ingenious design that allows some shock absorption that greatly quiets any trailering. I bought two full hitches one for each ball size so that I would never have to change ball again! Great product!

Works great for our various race boats with all different trailers

I have been using the Rapid Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount hitch for over a year averaging 3 days a week delivering new compact diesel tractors to customers. The hitch has held up very well with no signs of wear. The Teflon black caps on the ball are awesome when hitching up, there is no problem with the receiver sliding onto the ball when miss aligned. I have recommended this hitch to many of my friends and customers, they too are pleased with the hitch.
