Most Popular Rhino Rack for 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have had the Rhino Rack(RRRVP27) for a year now for my 2019 Grand Cherokee, and it is an excellent product. I watched the installation video first and from there it made installation easy. The rack is very sturdy and well made. We have only used it a handful of times, for midsized items weighing 30 to 50 lbs. On occasion I do hear a slight whistle, but it only seems to happen when there is strong wind or a cross wind. Most of the time it is quiet, and I do not notice any noise. I would recommend this rack for anyone in the market one, and I also recommend etrailer.com for your needs. They made purchasing very easy, good communication, and great follow up.

Product fits vehicle well. Wind noise is minimal so far. Would be five stars but installation directions need improvement. Had to combine written instructions provided with rack components with YouTube videos to fully understand how to install the rack. Also no marking for front bar versus rear bar. Easy to figure out once at the vehicle (and I was aware from the videos), but could be a point of concern for some people until they move further in the process.

Easy to read instructions, easy to install. Watched the install video a few times just to be sure! They do whistle a bit at highway speeds, but certainly not unbearable. In fact, I was surprised as to how quiet they are. It's to be expected, especially when paired with kayak j-racks. So happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend them!

Easy to install on the Aero crossbar and to fasten to the custom Rhino mounts on my Jeep Grand Cherokee WL.

Great bars. It's my second pair. Both on jeep Grand cherokee. The pair I put on my 2015 overland didn't whistle at all. This pair I put on my 2020 trailhawk whistled starting at 20mph and changed pitch throughout the acceleration process and while causing. I bought a fairing and the problem is solved. At least for now. I put the fairing on wit the label in. Looks better and Rhino Rack isn't paying me to advertise. The fairing they recommended seemed small but works so go with whatever they recommend.

The 'VA' measurement for feet position was about 9mm total off from a perfect fit, so I re-positioned them and it fit snug and looks GREAT. Hoping to get some use out of the rack soon.

This kit adapts the crossbar legs to my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Top quality parts, excellent fit with clear, easy to follow instructions. Measurements are included in this kit for ideal roof placement of the legs.

The small square plates had defective threads. Plus, it was difficult to get the legs lined up with the crossbars. I could not tighten the crossbar bolts in place due to lack of space. I had to remove the crossbars to tighten the assembly.

I bought this kit because I already owned a pair of Thule “square “ crossbars. When in place the rack is super solid. However, it has some issues. It is quite difficult to attach the legs to the base plate on the factory rails. It doesn’t click on and off. Quite annoying. A fiddly two person job. Also the wind noise is very noticeable. Also annoying.

Works great with my 2023 Toyota Sequoia and no wind noise . This was a better option then the oem trd roof rack.
