2018 wrangler unlimited Sport S. Without trailer wiring. Completed installation today. Used a 4 flat along with a 7 pin converter. Works and fit perfectly. Very hot day and work slowly and carefully. Very satisfied . Great folks at etrailer. Great products, great quality and prices. I'm a several time repeat customer and couldn't be more satisfied. 4 pin harness Was a 56407 and the 7 pin adapter was a 37185.

It's a bundle of wires with a plug. Hard to make this type of part special above other brands. Price is the big factor. Not quite sure why this one is 50% less cost than some others. But works as expected. Solved the dreaded taillights blinking while traveling on the road.

The install was extremely easy on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Just route the wire from the left backup light down to the trailer connector following the current wire bundle. I haven't tried it with the trailer but with the back up lights on there was voltage to the trailer connector, so it should work. Super fast shipping also.

This adapter is wonderful! It continues to work like a charm, was easy to install, and the price was right. Needed it for hauling my boat trailer that has hydraulic brakes. It has made it through all kinds of Wisconsin and Minnesota weather on my Jeep Wrangler and will last like any other wiring part that is exposed to the elements. Great product! I have a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that only has a four pole flat connector. I have a boat thats needs a five pole because it has surge brakes. This was the perfect solution. I just had the fifth wire connected to the back up light and plugged this five to four pole adapter that was already on the vehicle. Problem solved. It came quickly. I accidently ordered two and I got a call from Etrailer questioning my order. I thanked them and said I only needed one. They saved me the cost of the second adapter when most companys would have just sent them both- and charged me for two.

I have now installed the following on my 2017 Wrangler: Brake light relay kit . Hopkins Towed vehicle Tail Light wiring kit. Blue Ox base plate. Blue Ox Patriot Portable RF Braking System. All of this has taken about 3 days of work spread out over a week or so. Overall it went well. Not too many surprises. Crawling around under a car at 71 is a bit of a strain but I'll get over it. I must say that Donna P. has been a wonderful source of great information and has stayed right on top of the process. eTrailer has been a great source for this project. I would recommend you all with no hesitation.

Just what I needed for my home-built bike carrier. My wife rides an e-tricycle and by the time I loaded the trike and a couple of bikes on this platform, you could not see the car's taillights or blinkers. This harness worked perfectly!

Used this to rewire a 6 x 10 trailer. Inserted the wire through 3 feet of metal conduit to keep it from being damaged near the coupling. So now the only exposed wire is the ¼ inch right at the connector.

Overall, I was very impressed by this connector. I used it as an in-bed connector for my gooseneck trailers. The plug seems to be a quality product, engineered to stand up to some abuse. I like how the mounting bolt heads recess into the connector and also how the bottom of the connector is elongated to help support the weight of the plug and wiring. I think it has a great shot at lasting for a very long time. The hinge is predominately plastic that will not corrode and break like the many I've had in the past.

The adapter works great! I used it the day that I got it. I have an 18' car trailer that I just needed to take down to get a VIN inspection and I wanted to use my Jeep Wrangler because it's so easy to maneuver the trailer. I plugged the 7 blade from the trailer into the adapter, plugged the 4 wire flat into the Jeep, connected the ground wire, and the lights and turn signals all worked fine!!!!

It took awhile to receive my order, but I was informed by e-mail and was kept informed when I should expect delivery. Luckily, was in no rush, so I would reply and wait for an update from you. i received the connector in good condition. Thank you!

I have to say this is one quality product. I haven't used it yet however it is exactly what i need for my 8x30' camper which will be my permanent home on some land i own in a warmer climate. this is heavy duty wiring and plugs. fits the bill for me, i am so very happy i found this it will make my life easier, i thought i was going to have to rewire my trailer till I found this set. Exactly what I ordered. Tried ordering it from Northern tools did not stock it. At etrailer no problem shipped out right away,

I rewired my boat trailer using the wesbar 4-flat connector from junction box to the hitch. I do wish the wesbar connector was available in tinned wire. I used tinned 14 ga tinned wire for the rest of the wire and ran a ground wire to every light eliminating the trailer frame as a ground. Also added a switch at junction box for a manual trailer reverse flood lights. Filled the junction box with removable potting Gel to prevent water/corrosion. Works great. No issues. Never been stuck on the side of the road troubleshooting an electrical issue / bad ground. Would purchase this again, unless I could find a marine/tinned wire version, then I would purchase that one instead.

Hefty cable with thick sheathing. Should hold up well to rugged use & the elements.

I rewired my light bar for my boat trailer with the items I purchased. Before I built the the light bar, every time I used my boat trailer I would waste valuable sailing or fishing time repairing faulty lights. The do not last long when you submerge them in salt water. This light bar now version 3.0 have given little trouble over the years

This is very heavy duty looking connector and wires. I needed one to replace the damaged one on my Demco car hauler which is built for rental market. This looks as heavy duty as the original. Which didn't break but someone let it drag on the ground and wore half the pins off.
