Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes
So far so good; after installation of the stabilizer the rv steering straight as expected. I have not going the highway yet but... locally; the rig is doing well... and doing very well sitting at the drive way looking pretty!... i have to revisit this review for the final test of 1000 miles. etrailer's staff is very helpful in communication and responsive through email support. I rather pay little more for the product with the proper guidance and advice from etraile'r staff. I included a few pictures after i installed the stabilizer at night. On the installation; the instructions doesn’t instruct you to put red lock tight on the nuts; but i put the lock tight on there anyway to reinsure the nut doesn’t come off due to vibration since the bolt and nut holding the bracket barely shows any treads after torque.
I bought this stabilizer for a 99 class A Motorhome. The steering stabilizer kit came quickly and complete. Instructions are easy to follow. The whole install took about 40 mins. Just a couple adjustments to center the steering up. I initially bought the stabilizer because in strong crosswinds the motorhome was hard to maintain lane control. The stabilizer has improved handling. You must also insure that other steering components are not worn. I recommend the Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer for older Motorhomes.

First, I did have to grind off corner of the plate that mounts under leaf spring bolts. It would not lay flush so I tapered one of the edges where it met the axel a little bit till it laid flush. I did buy a 3/4 inch wrench set but with an rv, it's good to have and will possible allow me to get the 22.5 inch wheels off in an emergency. This with a good solid 3' pipe and I was able to fairly easily break the leaf spring bolts free. I used boards to ensure the fronts tires were fairly straight, laying them alongside the tires and eyeballing to see where they lined up with the back tires which are about 4 inches wider than the front outside width. I mounted the steering stabilizer and took it for a test drive and it was good the first time, no additional adjustments needed. Feels good on the road, good around turns, and even at low speeds around the driveway, I did not notice any extra effort to turn the wheel due to the heavy spring on the stabalizer. Put about 75 miles on it and it feels solid and stable though no high winds or passing semi trucks yet. But my 2007 ford f53 22000 lb chassis under a holiday rambler admiral body has always felt pretty good. Just trying to make better, next up is the new koni evo fsd heavy duty shocks coming today.
I have a class A motorhome, F53. I installed a Roadmaster reflex steering stabilizer, a Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar 1 3/4" diameter, 4 new koni shocks and 6 new tires. Now, it feels well planted on the road. Its a combination. Very happy !

Roadmaster Reflex RV Steering Stabilizer with Mtg Brackets
Quality built steering stabilzer. Well packaged and arrived within my expected time frame.
I did the drive to find center on steering wheel which made installation easier. Removing existing steering stabilizer and brackets and installing the new wasn’t difficult at all with just basic tools. Read instructions and watch video at etrailer site. The reflex steering stabilizer is worth the money but should be the last modification done in my opinion. The first thing to install to help the swaying, leaning or just being pushed around by the semi trucks is #1 Roadmaster rear anti-sway bar if the manufacturer left the original small one on. #2 Roadmaster front anti-sway bar. Then #3 Roadmaster Reflex steering stabilizer. I say Roadmaster because the bushings and linkage for all of these are very heavy duty compared to the others that I compared. After doing all three of these upgrades to my 2022 E-450 33 foot class C the driving has gone from seriously gripping the steering wheel to driving relaxed with one hand in high wind or the passing of big rigs and ruff dipping road surfaces. I did this upgrades one at a time in the order I’ve indicated so I actually got to feel how each item help to control my motorhome. I am very pleased with all. Thanks etrailer for the excellent service.

Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes
Excellent setup, road manners are so much better. I don't have to work to keep the truck straight anymore. Installed in less than an hour with just a few basic tools.
This stabilizer made my truck much safer to drive. When pulling a trailer, the truck was difficult to handle. Any line or imperfection in the pavement would lead the truck around and cause it to sway. It now handles much better.

I found this easy to install however the bracket to hold it onto the steering rod kept slipping. NOT a good bracket design. In addition, the stabilizer only improved the "wondering" by about 30%.
Nick S was GREAT help. He helped me with the right stabilizer for my motor home and had it shipped the very same day. Stabilizer was installed with very little effort and it is making quite a difference in my ability to steer the motor home. I will definitely recommend etrailer to my friends.

2010 33' Thor Hurricane Had to modify one mounting bracket { no problem} bolted on and totally improved handling. Priced right works great.
Exactly what I needed to replace a weak and failing steering damper on our f-53 chassis Bounder RV. Very easy to install and makes a huge difference in handling.
