Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
The rack and extension arrived in sturdy boxes, well packed and no damage in shipping. The parts fit together easily. The welds left something to be desired, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. As a precaution against corrosion,I got some plasti-dip, which is a rubberized vinyl sealant and sealed all the places where moisture could get into the various tubes of the rack. I was satisfied with the quality of the powder coating on all the parts. The mounting system to the roof rack is interesting and appears well-designed. The assembly and installation instructions are OK, but could have been written better. For example, there is an extra tightening knob for the U-bolts, but no description if it is there as a spare.
I bought this roof basket for my 5th gen 4Runner so that we could run the Trans America Trail. I looked at other baskets and this seemed to be a great deal, especially when I compared prices. Overall, I'm happy with it. There were some fit and finish issues (the holes didn't line up quite right and I had to drill them out in order to get the locking bolts through; the u-bolts that attach the basket to the rig's existing rack are WAY too long and poke holes in anything above them - easy fix with a hack saw or a bolt cutter, but really annoying). That being said, it has held up very well. 4,500 miles of off road, fully loaded, and I haven't had an issue. I continue to use it for trips. Overall, I would recommend this to other people.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Good quality and shipped in timely manor , hade some packing scratches but it will get scratched on trail rides anyway, we like the look and function of the rack , I would recommend to a friend .
Purchased the Curt rooftop Basket for my 4Runner and I am very happy with it! I took a cross country trip and it held several of my bags with no problem. I'd recommend it in a hearbeat!

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Works fine. Easy to assemble, no issues at all, took about 45 minutes. Been using it weekly or more for over a month. I use it for hauling garbage to the dump and carrying jerrycans of gas outside the vehicle. Only concern is that it's a bit flimsy--the platform flexes and the sides bend a bit more than I like when I ratchet down the straps to hold on the cargo, but that's aluminum for you. It takes the 100+ lbs I carry, but I'm skeptical about the 500 lb rating. Little nervous about loading my snowblower on to it. Lightweight, easy easy to install and remove, stores easily in the garage. Folds up nicely against the back of my 4Runner, though it does obscure the licence plate about 1/2 way. Police don't seem too concerned--so far. I purchased also anti-rattle hitch pin--highly recommended. Without this, the carrier shakes a lot from side to side. Would I buy this again?--oh yeah.
Assoicate was very helpfull and knowledgeable about the product. Delivery was as she said. (3 days) After a few minutes figuring out step #1, assembly went well. Used it on my 2013 Toyota 4runner to carry My gas edger to the shop. worked great.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
Worked well on a recent Snowmobile trip for carrying plastic box and cooler. Would like to add some easier tie down points and LED BU and break lights. Any recommendations.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Would give 5 stars, but the hole for the pin to secure to the trailer hitch does not line up right for my 4Runner. Never had this problem with any other hitch I’ve used. It’s very close to lining up, but required me to grind down a hitch pin. Basket is solid. Held plenty of heavy gear on an off-road trip in Baja.
Only took 20 minutes to asemble....Looks good and sturdy enough for my needs. I plan on hauling my huge cooler and hopefully a few deer that are too heavy to lift into the back of my Toyota 4runner..

"We got the cargo bag and used it on the DrawTite cargo rack with no rails and took the whole load up and over the Smokey Mountains! What a fabulous product!"
