The hitch looks good but tore through the box from shipping and has the powder coat rubbed off on the side that faces out. I had to touch up with paint . Is there anything you can do for me? I needed it so don’t want to exchange or return. Thank you
The hitch was super easy to install the videos on the website were awesome for reference highly recommend to anyone needing a hitch

Got it for a bike rack for my mini bike came with everything I needed and instructions way better than I expected and a great price would buy again 10000%
Came with everything I needed. Great installation video on product page. Game with paper instructions as well. Had a hard time fishing a bolt through the frame, but ended up getting it after about 20 minutes. Product looks great and fit great. Looking forward to using it.

Hitch and wiring harness works great on my 2015 Ford Explorer. install only took about 30 minutes. would definitely recommend purchasing from Etrailer.
This was a perfect fit for my 2012 Explorer. It looks and functions great and the price cannot be beat! eTrailer is a great company; you can tell this by the organization and details on their website. Tracking the package in transit is a breeze and items arrive on time. The hitch is solid. The moment you take it out of the box, you’ll know you got a great part. I was able to install it myself, though it would have certainly been better to have someone help hold it in position just to get a bolt started on each side. In any case, it does not take long to install. All hardware was included and directions are minimal and straightforward. You’ll need some WD-40 to get the exhaust off its hangers, a strap to support the exhaust while it’s lowered, a socket set, and a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to specs. I did not have a torque wrench that went all the way up to the required torque value, so I ended up purchasing one at the local box store. If you don’t like acquiring tools, you could always ask a neighbor or maybe rent one from the local auto parts store. In any case, with the new wrench, as well as the 4-pole wiring harness and magnetic trailer lights (also purchased from etrailer), I still came out way ahead of what it would have cost to put on a hitch at the dealer. In essence, the $450 bike rack that goes in the hitch receiver and the quality torque wrench ($80) serve as “free” gifts to the family/myself for the DYI installation. Finally, some might want a Ford OEM hitch setup but the curved design of this particular custom hitch looks great. Happy hauling!

Nice hitch. Unfortunately it broke through the box during shipping. UPS is tough on bulky heavy products but having zero packing material to keep it from sliding around in the box is more of the root cause problem in my opinion. This hitch has very little clearance at the receiver tube and bumper facier. I wasn’t able to use the anti rattle clamp that I also purchased.
Great hitch. Installed myself. Fairly straightforward. Recommend having something to hold the hitch in the up position while under the car to assist while installing. Only complaint, no torque rating for the bolts that hold the hangers. That would be helpful.
What our customers are saying:
