Most Popular No Extension for 2020 Chrysler Pacifica

My wife and I could not find this product anywhere....after spending 4hours going from store to store we found etrailer.com and bam! There it was the Verical Adapter we were searching for. The hitch is hidden under the bumper of our Chrysler Pacific thus needing the 90 degree adaptor......we needed this in which to mount our Bike Rack. Works great and highly recommend this adaptor. Our item was shipped the very next day and etrailer sent us tracking info...no problems and arrived on time. Will go to etrailer first next time!

The hitch adapter and 90 degree mount solved my desire to mount my electric wench on my auto trailer replacing the manual wench. See photo. The 2" sleeve would not come out of the existing 2" receiver so I used the hitch adapter to make the transition. The etrailer experts correctly told me there would be some play in this joint. However, it works here (as this is not for towing). I also used the 90 degree mount upside down (also not an approved application). But again no towing is involved. I did need to drill a new hole in the receiver.

It worked, till it didn't. It's a short smaller tube inside a larger tube, only held together by two spot welds. The spot welds split/detached allowing the inner sleeve free movement! I have a bike w stinger expanded to grip the inner tube and a little safety catch on outside. The safety catch was the only thing keeping my rack from sliding completely off! For the price this should've been a solid milled piece. Don't rely on these welds unless you have two through hitch pins one on car and one through the adapter end.

Based on an initial fit, the bike rack stinger is a bit loose in the reducer. If tightening the threaded pin does not reduce the wobble, I can add some shims since I intend to keep the reducer mounted on the bike rack. The reducer is an easy fit into the 2" receiver - the Quiet Hitch removed any movement.

This hitch worked well on my Kona electric. Etrailer provides outstanding service. Will definitely purchase from this quality company again.

High quality part! It was exactly what I needed. This is pretty easy to use with the only challenge being lining up the holes with the receiver and the hitch. Still pretty easy.
