Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 3,200 lbs
Super beefy and after a years worth of use it still works as good as the day it was installed. I went a lot bigger then the factory winch on my trailer and I am glad I did. This thing drags my boat up without breaking a sweat.
I’m using two of these on a floating dock that fluctuates seasonally due to TVA water release during the winter. They hold plenty of cable & are heavy duty enough to move the dock as needed.

Fulton 2-Speed Trailer Winch - 10" Long Handle - 20' Strap - Zinc - 3,200 lbs
After two weeks of waiting this is how it arrived. If you going to use USPS to ship I will consider other retailers.
Excellent upgrade from the wimpy one which came with the trailer. Great for my lousy shallow ramp, back in such that the boat nests in the bunks and let the torque from this thing easily drag the boat up to the stop.

Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Handbrake - Cable Only - Zinc - 3,700 lbs
Upon inspection of winch, came in good shape, well packaged delivered to our customer, thank you
Winch is very heavy duty and well coated with zinc. Handle can be removed and inserted in the low or high speed with a push of a button. Great winch. However, the brake lever is in a bag with a few hardware parts which must be assembled to the winch. I thought the brake lever would already be assembled to the winch. The e-clip (or wave washer as the instructions call it) that holds the brake lever in place broke when trying to clip it on. I had to run to an auto parts store 10 miles away to buy a new e-clip as I was in the middle of installation. If the brake lever had already been installed I would have given the winch five stars.

2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch with 20' Strap and Brake - 3,200 lbs
Five stars..purchased this winch to minimize effort to haul in my 18ft Fourwinns when the trailer angle/submergence makes for a tougher reloading. The two speeds allow for an easier retrieval when winching the boat onto the trailer. Literally cranking takes half the effort to retrieve my boat. The foot print of mounting on my existing winch stand was easy, required drilling a few extra holes to secure, but is solidly mounted using only 3 bolt/nuts. I also camouflaged painted the winch to offset the “new shiny” appearance against theft when trailer is parked at the marina’s.
Well at first i was a little concerned because the factory container box was mangled. The shipping box was fine. It seemed ok. Installed and seems to be fine
