Most Popular Locks Not Included for 2019 Ford Expedition

Love the Swagman Platform XTC-2 bike rack! This the third bike carrier I have bought in two years. I have been frustrated and disappointed with previous purchases. The one is far superior and much easier for me to use, definetly worth the purchase price and can only wish I had found this first and not wasted so much money! So much easier to load and unload my bike and now feel safe transporting it. Thanks to etrailer.com for prompt service and expedition of the product. Happy trails!

The rack was easy to put together and mount on my vehicle ('98 Ford Expedition). I haven't hauled any bikes yet but the system seemed very solid. The only recommendation I would make is to provide instructions on which bike (bigger/smaller/mountain/road, etc) should be placed in the rack closest to the vehicle, and which of the hold-down brackets should be used with which bike. It was a little bit of a puzzle to figure it out.

One Year Later – Still Going Strong I’ve owned this rack for a year now, and I couldn’t be happier. It securely holds all 4 of my bikes, even on longer road trips, with no shifting or wobble. One of my favorite features is the ability to tilt the rack away from the vehicle—even when it's fully loaded. That’s a huge convenience and makes it super practical for daily use. Durable, easy to use, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable 4-bike solution.

This bike rack has worked well for us. We have a Jeep Wrangler, with the spare tire on the back of the tailgate, and needed a rack that would hold the bikes in a trailer hitch, and swing away so we could easily access the rear storage of the jeep. This has worked out perfectly! I did have to use a hitch extender to clear the rear tire, but that was expected. The rack works well, holds the bikes as expected, and is easy to use, and get on and off the vehicle. I am very satisfied!

Way too light duty for what is advertised. It seemed to be made out of 1/2 inch electrical conduit. I would never put three bikes on that rack. I only had two bikes on the rack. While on trip through Idaho the wind was so strong that one of the bikes partially blew off the rack. We traveled 1,800 miles and upon arriving home I actually sawed the bike rack up and threw it away so that no one else would use it and cause an accident. I've already found a different brand that is HEAVY DUTY and I will stick with that brand.

This is definitely more of a 2 bike carrier vs 3 bikes. I had to take the front wheels off two bikes to get three bikes on this carrier. Also, it rubbed the paint off on the trunk of my Subaru legacy.

Quick set up, felt secure, no rattle.

This is a well designed rack. Adding and removing bikes is quick & easy. Just set the bike on & slide the padded hook down onto the bike frame to secure it; no straps required. If only one bike is transported, it does not interfere with opening the trunk on our Tesla Model 3. With 2 bicycles the trunk cannot be opened. For 2 bikes the Swagman model that can tilt might be worth the extra 22 bucks. This rack uses a bolt in the receiver hitch instead of a pin. This locks it securely preventing it from moving in the hitch & rattling. It also requires a wrench to remove it, good for theft prevention but one more thing to keep track of. For storage on the vehicle the top bar folds down. For storage in the garage, the left & right bars fold up & you can hang it using one of the hooks.

The Rhino Rack has been the perfect addition to my Outback. It looks great, and I love the built-in through-axel bike mounts. It's nice not to have to have an additional mount for my bicycles! Is this the perfect cargo basket?

Phenomenal Product. We purchased for our 1200 mile road trip in August 2019 to Sedona the coast and back home in Northern California. Everything was safe and secure our entire trip & no problems other than lots of bugs to clean off our rack & baskets when we arrived at our final destination.
