Most Popular 2 Inch to 1-1/4 Inch for 2019 Chevrolet Equinox

I purchased this item in conjunction with a trailer hitch for my 2018 Chevy Equinox. Installation was very simple and the product performs flawlessly.

The adapter seems to be of very good quality. Before looking at etrailer I'd been having a hard time finding adapters that had both the 5/8" hole (#3 pin) for attachment to my 2" trailer hitch, and a 1/2" diameter hole to attach the 1-1/4" bike rack. Some just had one size holes, others had terrible reviews. The fit is good, though there is some wiggle room. From all the reviews I've seen, ALL adapters have some movement, and the only solution is adding a locking collar, which I may do after I've tried it for a while (I just got it today). Bottom line, I'm happy with my purchase.

My bike rack is too small for this adapter. It’s supposed to be 2 inch to 1.25 inch. My hubby measured 1 1/3 inch. My bike rack is 1.25 inch.
