This unit does not wrap around the tubing for the 3/8" pipe completely however it handles about 80% coverage and protects the tubing against the metal edges.

Used this to protect wiring on Jeep Gladiator. I ran wiring to install a 12volt outlet in the bed. Connected to aux switch in dash. Works well.

Absolutely Superb Service! On the 23rd of September at 10:10 a.m., I ordered a brake controller and several other items from the etrailer.com website. By 12:16 p.m. of the same day, I received a notification from etrailer that the order had shipped. The complete order arrived at about noon on the 26th. Ordering on the website was easy. All items were described very clearly and pictures were provided for them. The service at etrailer is absolutely superb. I would recommend this company, without hesitation, to anyone needing trailer parts or accessories.

It's a good one. This prevents the wire from scraping the edge of the metal hole causing wire breakage. The only thing is the drilled hole requires a drill bit larger than 1/2", otherwise you have to expand the hole using the sides of the bit. It took me a while with trial and error. I have a good collection of drill bits but unfortunately the largest doesn't go beyond 1/2", and I didn't realize that until trying to fit the grommet inside the hole. By that time, I didn't feel like to go out to just get the right sized drill bit. Just wish they make a grommet that fits the 1/2" drill hole. It's a great product.

It's a quick splice connector, does what it's supposed to do. However, you can find these a lot cheaper than $1.73 each. I found 50 for $7.47 ($0.14/each). Do your research.
