2018 wrangler unlimited Sport S. Without trailer wiring. Completed installation today. Used a 4 flat along with a 7 pin converter. Works and fit perfectly. Very hot day and work slowly and carefully. Very satisfied . Great folks at etrailer. Great products, great quality and prices. I'm a several time repeat customer and couldn't be more satisfied. 4 pin harness Was a 56407 and the 7 pin adapter was a 37185.

I purchased the 7-way cord and the adapter to extend the connection from the bumper to my extended hitch connection. The ready made molded cord made it easy to assemble the extension cord. Works as advertised.

Much easier to plug and unplug than the little four flat tight thing.

The plug is different from original cord. Doesn’t look as good but we’ll see how it works. 1st new cord

It's a bundle of wires with a plug. Hard to make this type of part special above other brands. Price is the big factor. Not quite sure why this one is 50% less cost than some others. But works as expected. Solved the dreaded taillights blinking while traveling on the road.

Works, exact fit, high quality, coils tight so max of about 3.5’ perfect! Heavy duty wiring, great waterproof connections.

Can be a little tricky to get the wires clamped in the back of the plug but once installed on the wire, works as it should, and good quality

I do not recommend this product. I bought this for my truck. It seems to be the nicest looking plug on the market but after the first rain, the plug was filled with water. I changed the location from the hitch to the bumper and once again the plug was filled with water after it rained. This condition will obviously lead to terminals corroding and/or wires being shorted out. I have bought a different style plug, unfortunately the same brand but hopefully I will have better luck. May be able to drill a small drain hole in the casing to allow water to escape but shouldn't have to do this on a new product.

I bought this socket for my 2006 Volvo Xc90 to wire in the 4-Pole harness I also purchased from etrailer. Already had a few 7 Blade to 4-Pole adapters from my previous vehicle, and wanted the option of adding a trailer brake wire for a small camper later on so that was the main reason for the purchase. It also went very well with the Hidden Hitch I had already installed, bracket mounted right up to the existing tabs on the hitch. Super quick and easy install, as all of my etrailer purchases have been. Looks great on the truck, and functions great with the 180 Degree cover.

I have ordered several adapters and complete trailer wiring harnesses from Etrailer. All have been top quality. I have saved a lot of money on the plug and play trailer harnesses. Several hundred dollars when they are factory installed, less than $75 from Etrailer.

Overall, I was very impressed by this connector. I used it as an in-bed connector for my gooseneck trailers. The plug seems to be a quality product, engineered to stand up to some abuse. I like how the mounting bolt heads recess into the connector and also how the bottom of the connector is elongated to help support the weight of the plug and wiring. I think it has a great shot at lasting for a very long time. The hinge is predominately plastic that will not corrode and break like the many I've had in the past.

The adapter works great! I used it the day that I got it. I have an 18' car trailer that I just needed to take down to get a VIN inspection and I wanted to use my Jeep Wrangler because it's so easy to maneuver the trailer. I plugged the 7 blade from the trailer into the adapter, plugged the 4 wire flat into the Jeep, connected the ground wire, and the lights and turn signals all worked fine!!!!

It took awhile to receive my order, but I was informed by e-mail and was kept informed when I should expect delivery. Luckily, was in no rush, so I would reply and wait for an update from you. i received the connector in good condition. Thank you!

I have to say this is one quality product. I haven't used it yet however it is exactly what i need for my 8x30' camper which will be my permanent home on some land i own in a warmer climate. this is heavy duty wiring and plugs. fits the bill for me, i am so very happy i found this it will make my life easier, i thought i was going to have to rewire my trailer till I found this set. My '92 GMC Sierra had a 6-pin trailer harness connector and I'm going to be pulling a pop-up camper in a few weeks that has a 7-pin connector. I originally ordered a 47435 6-Pole to 7-Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter. After thinking about it for a day I changed my mind and ordered a HM48470 Hopkins Endurance Multi-tow 7-way, 5 & 4-wire Flat Connector to mount in the bumper and a HM47570 Hopkins Endurance Multi-tow Connect Adapter - 7-way To 6-way, 5-way and 4-way. The HM48470 will allow me to pull the pop-up as well as giving me the 4-wire flat connector that I need for my boat trailer. I bought the HM47570 adapter just to cover all the trailer wiring needs I might run into. I really like the fact that the 47570 adapter has the quick change plug to cover both wiring arrangements for 6-pin trailer connectors. I placed the original order Saturday evening and the second order Sunday afternoon. Monday morning, I called etrailer.com to try to cancel the first order and was told that both orders were already boxed and on the way the shipper. I had no idea that they had people there to pull and box orders on the weekend. I asked about returning the first order when it arrived and was told by Helen M that it would be no problem at all. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase experience with etrailer.com. Everyone I spoke with there was very knowledgeable and I will not hesitate to go directly to them for my trailer and towing needs in the future.

I needed an adapter for my electrical towing harness so the that I could use a 5-Way connector on my 7-WAY plug. On line, I found and ordered Item No. HM47570 "HOPKINS ENDURANCE MULTI-TOW CONNECTOR ADAPTER - 7-WAY to 6-WAY, 5-WAY or 4-WAY." When I received the product, I was really stoked, it was exactly what I needed and what I had been looking for! I tried it on for "size" as you might say and it's going to work like a charm. I will send some photos later when I'm done with the installation! No time right now. . this coming weekend! Photo 1&2 my connector; Photo 3&4 the new HM47570; Photo 5,6,&8 the light bar I wanted to install and the completed project. Thanks a bunch!

Worked out pretty good. Had a hard time figuring out just how to attach it. I ended up just zip tieing it. It was a life saver that I could pull the rear plug apart. Made it possible to slide part of the harness thought a tight hole.

Really easy to install. Plugs right in to the flat four wiring. I found a decent spot to mount the bracket and finished the installation. 5 minutes max. At this time I didn’t have to wire up a brake controller. That’s going to be a project for a different time. I would definitely recommend this product.

I am enclosing 2 photos of trailer connector I purchased from etrailer. I have a 1995 Dutchman popup trailer. It had a 6 way round connector which would not fit my 2010 F150. By using your trailer connector diagrams, I was able to determine Dutchman was using white for the ground, blue for brakes, black for battery, brown for right turn/brake, red for left turn/brake, and green for tail lights. I replaced the 6 way with your 7 way connector.

Absolutely horrible to wire up. There is not enough room in the pistol grip for the six wires. Worst plug wire up experience ever.

Installed and tested and seems to work perfectly. To be perfectly honest, my vehicle was NOT on the list of those that this part will fit. But I saw on another post elsewhere that someone had had success with this and I thought it was worth the gamble. I just installed this myself in about 20 minutes, thanks to a YouTube video. The dealer is quoting 70 bucks for this part plus installation which I heard can be as much as $200 more. I just did it myself in 20 minutes for $18. Thank you so much. Check out my pics.

Packaged very well and delivered when expected. No defects noted with this products condition. I have not mounted the connector on the truck yet or operationally tested it but there's nothing to lead me to believe that it wouldn't perform as advertised.
