Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Mazda CX5 we're going to be test fitting the Thule Passage 2-bike rack, part number TH910XT. We already have a bike installed on the rack so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.The cradles are adjustable going back and forth and side to side. They do have these grooves on the inside here so the cables of your bike will rest inside there as opposed to getting crushed up against the frame once you're installing the bike. We do have three points of contact with the bike. We have two straps up at the top holding it in place as well as one off to the side here. That's going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth.Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside.

Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.At the ends of both of our arms, on one of them we're going to have a bottle opener, which is pretty unique to these bike racks. On the other, we're going to have an integrated cable lock that will wrap around the outermost bike and attach to this point here for security. The cradles are stationary but do have this super cush material to make sure that the frame of your bike doesn't have any scratches or abrasions on it once it's being installed. It holds your bike at three points.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Mazda CX-5 we're gonna be test fitting the Yakima HalfBack 2 Bike Rack, part number Y02636. We already have a bike installed on our rack, let's take a closer look and who off some of its features.On the ends of both the arms we have the bottle openers, which is pretty unique to this bike rack. The cradles are fixed, but have enough space in between them where bike to bike contact won't be an issue while loading or unloading. The cradles also have this SuperCush material, to make sure that the frame of your bike doesn't have any scratches or abrasions on it once it's being installed.We'll have two zip strips up, at the top, holding it into place, as well as one off to the side, which is gonna serve as the anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and causing bike to bike contact that way. Moving to the wheel here, it does come with this small wheel strap for the innermost wheel, to keep it from making contact with your vehicle. If you have two bikes on here, there is a much longer strap that wraps around both bikes, as well as the bike rack itself, and that's gonna be the stabilization strap for that instance.So let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside.

We already have a bike installed on our rack, so let's take a closer look, and show off some of the features. The cradles are going to be stationary, but are padded on the inside here to ensure that the frame of your bike doesn't get any scratches or abrasions on it once it's being installed. It holds your bike at three points. Will have two straps up at the top here, and one off to the side, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, and causing the bike to bike contact.Now, while the cradles are stationary, they are spaced far enough apart where bike to bike contact, initially when installing it, isn't going to be an issue. At the end here, we do have an integrated cable lock that will wrap around the outermost bike and lock into place here.
