Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Could not be happier with the product and the service - moving from LA to Portland and we couldn't fit the bikes in the pod - so etrailer came to the rescue!
I assembled the Thule Passage 2 trunk bike rack but have not yet used it on the road. The Instructions for assembling the rack were very poorly written and presented. The drawings did not look like the parts in the box and Some items were listed but not in the box AND some items were not marked properly on the instructions diagram! Good grief! Get a proof reader! I hope the rack works better than the Instructions did.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
I have a 2003 Ford Escape and it fit perfectly! East to use and my bike is safe and secure. The only thing was it was recommended that I buy an extra bar if I had a girls bike - this was not needed for the kind of bike I have.
The rack arrived in a timely manner. Installation was easy. The unit seems very sturdy, but I have yet to take it foe a spin.

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
While getting a bike rack for a sports car isn't ideal, I really wanted to transfer my bike with my own car instead of borrowing my friend's pickup truck. After hours of trying to find a bike rack that would be good for my 07 Mustang, I decided to give this one a try and I gotta say, it has been pretty good so far. It fits very well over the factory spoiler. One of my biggest concerns I was worried about when ordering a rack for my Mustang was ruining the paint, but the feet on the legs haven't left one scratch. I have used this to transfer my bike at freeway speeds (up to 80 mph) on car rides that typically last an hour and my bike was perfectly secure throughout each ride. For extra security, I wrapped both bike wheels with a ratchet strap so the wheels and pedals wouldn't shift in transit. So far, I am very pleased with this bike rack for the price and quality. I would highly recommend this if you want a rack that is affordable and durable.
Seemingly well-constructed and supported bike rack. It fits my 2018 Toyota Camry SE just fine and I haven't had any issues with sway or even feeling my bike while driving. I've only carried one bike on it and have used it a limited number of times, so I cannot speak on durability and longevity. Although you shouldn't open your trunk while the rack is attached, I have been able to do so with no issue (without the bike attached).

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Once I found online measurements and youtube videos, it was easy to install. My bike is a girls bike without the straight bar from seat to handlebars and I didn't need additional the product they said may be required. The bumper of my 2016 Escape is plastic and the hatch door has no lip to hold the clamp for the bottom straps. I attached the clamp to the metal bracket that attaches the bumper to the car. I'm happy with this product and look forward to biking other places rather than around my block.
I work at a dealership and we endorse Yakama products so i already knew of their great reputation. Ricky was awesome to assist! The installation on my 2016 Ford Escape easy. Tried it out that day. I suggest getting bunjee cords to hold the tires together. I recommended this product to a friend as well.

Yakima Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Escape
Today on this 2016 Ford Escape, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FullBack 3-Bike Rack, part number Y02633. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is actually attached to the rack, we're going to have 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have 2 ZipStrips up at the top here and 1 off to the side, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack or the bikes in front of it. It also has an integrated cable lock here at the end. You'll wrap it around the bike in the front and attach it to this point here, and that's for a little bit of added security. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside.

We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is actually attached to the rack we're going to have three points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have two zip strips up at the top here, and then one off to the side, and that's going to serve as an anti-sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth possibly hitting the bike rack where the bike's in front of it. Let's go and take it off and set it aside. To do that there's two tabs on either side of the zip strip, you just push them in at the same time and lift them up and out. Go ahead and put them back in place for now.
What our customers are saying:
"Sent out an e-mail to you earlier this week asking which hitch woudld be the best choice for installing on a 2000 Venture van for hauling a bike rack with two bikes. You suggested the one that would be easiest to install..received in a matter of days..installation went great ..very well thought out instructions. Everything went smooothly and the hitch is up nice and snug..doesn't stick out..looks great."
