Most Popular Fixed Fifth Wheel for 2015 Ram 3500

Was tired of the movement and clunking with my old hitch between the hich and rails and the kingpin and locking jaws. This hitch completely does away with all the noise. The absolute best 5th wheel hitch I have even owned. A great made in America product. Thououghly impressed.

Installed by myself and used it to tow new fifth wheel about 30 miles. It was delivered as promised and installed easily. Great hitch.

Had a great experience with a great product. So refreshing to see something actual works as advertised. The site said it would fit my truck, be under the rail line and that was exactly the case. It takes about thirty minutes of real work to install. Working alone, it took me an hour - counting all the breaks. The GREEN/RED/YELLOW indicator on the handle makes it simple to know when it's locked, unlocked or ready to lock... Looking forward to hooking up the Toy Hauler.

So far the equipment is perfect. The boxes it came in were pretty messed but they are a heavy product so I would expect some damage to the box. I would have expected a bit more of a box for such a heavy item. I received them 2 separate days and this came down to how it was being moved on the label. Ups was unable to read it and had to reprocess the label and deliver the second half to me 2 days later.

This product is heavy, very heavy, but it should be for what it is used for. Installation was really easy and the directions are spot on. I installed this onto the B&W Gooseneck hitch and all parts mated up perfectly. Looking forward to towing with this when I get a toy hauler this spring.

Superior. My old Reese 16K served me well, but after 10 years of service including the AL-CAN highway, it creaked and moaned when loaded and banged around when not loaded. When I got a new truck that was 5th wheel prepped from the factory I chose the Curt hitch over the Reese, if for no other reason than it displayed first on the search list. I’m glad I did. First of all, the unit arrived in two heavy boxes. The boxes had a few dings, but were in pretty good condition. The contents of each box was packed well with styrofoam. None of the pieces sent to me were bent, broken or scratched. The instructions were pretty straightforward and easy to read. I’m 66 and completed the installation without assistance. I used the formula provided in the instructions to calculate the height of the assembly and the results were pretty much to my satisfaction. I did have to adjust the locking lugs and tighten each castle nut one notch to where there was a little resistance when locking. PROS: it’s solid, no wiggle; the head has a square rubber bumper the fits in the base that keeps the head from bouncing around when unloaded; coupling and locking indicators can easily be see from the cab and provide visual status of the jaws; interlocking double jaws. CONS: none at this time. I’m a happy camper.

I have always had pretty good luck w Curt products! Product was was as described easy to install. Def heavy duty. Other posts were same, meaning boxes sustained heavy damage, but product inside was in great shape. Few scratches but no gonna change my review. Etrailer did price match so saved me some cash. Haven't pulled with it yet, just moved 40 ft camper around. May update later.

Arrived timely in a very well protected carton. Handled shipping better than any other 150 lb item I received in a cardboard box. There are a few small scratches but nothing that some minor touch-up (semi-gloss?) won't take care of. Was able to put it together alone and install in the mounting rails in about 30 minutes. Heavier than my old 15k hitch but not so heavy I can't position it alone. May enlist help when it's time to put it away in the fall.

The Curt Q24 Hitch is a very Sturdy Hitch, was easily assembled and easy to understand its proper Usage. There are many Safety aspects I admire about this Product. I would recommend this Hitch to anybody.

Purchased this Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs Item # C16044 to go in 2019 RAM 3500 DRW and tow 16,750# 40’ fifth wheel with 3,145# hitch weight. Newbie to 5th wheels and I haven’t taken delivery of the trailer yet so I set it in the highest position. Judging by how high it’s sitting I may have to let it down to the next setting. Easy assembly by myself although it is heavy. Seems well made. No adjustments needed to get it to sit in place. Came in 2 boxes and one was torn but nothing missing. Happy with it so far.

This hitch was extremely easy to install! Although the locking handle maneuvered slightly different than the Curt videos I saw online, the intuitive design made it a breeze to set up. As a first time 5th-wheeler, this product has exceeded my expectations so far. I have not towed yet with this unit, but I feel confident that this product will be able to tow my 16k lb 5th wheel.

I have ran a cheap competitor hitch for several years. A manufacturing defect (welded pivot pin) caused the hitch to fail and resulted in 18000$ damage to my truck and trailer. I chose the Curt 25000# hitch after much research and found it to be very well made and clearly shows when it is properly coupled. It is quiet and operates with minimal klunking and chunking going down the road. Overall I am very pleased.

Mounted this hitch on my flatbed 3500 Ram and the hitch works flawlessly. Pull 44' tri-axle weighing in at 23,000# with ease. Very easy to use and understand, very easy to maintain.

Installed on a 2023 GMC 3500 HD Denali SRW with puck system. Website could not confirm fitment, but it does fit. Easy install, seems to be sturdy.

etrailer service and shipping was great. As far as the hitch, it's the best you can buy. I'm using it in a 2021 standard bed Chevy 3500. I can safely get about a 75 degree turn with it. I don't feel like a I need a slider at all. Hitch is solid and gives a very smooth ride.

They advertise you can be within 3” of hitch and still connect I found that you need to be almost perfect. And to latch and unlatch there can’t be any pressure going up or weight going down, you have about a 1/4” to play with. I found it to be rougher when pulling than a normal fifth wheel hitch. It is very light though.

We have the Anderson Hitch installed on our 2017 Ford SuperDuty and pull a Reflection 337RLS. We have traveled over 4,000 miles and have been extremely satisfied. The hitch allows plenty of clearance between 5th wheel, bed, and the truck cab. Hook-up and disconnect has always been easy, even with RV lots that were uneven dirt lots. I use Curt thin rubber sound dampeners (item 16900) and this provides a quiet, tight fit between the rails and hitch. Of course the light weight makes it easy to remove when not towing and less weight when you are towing. A great product for the right truck, trailer combination.

Love it. Absolutely love it. My old one (different brand) was more than ready to be replaced. No more pulling on pin release, backing up, going forward, using hammer to release pin. No more beating up on my truck from the hitch.

This hitch is average at best. It has been garage kept and already sticking and not opening properly. I have owned a 5th wheel camper my entire life and the 2 prior hitches was never serviced and gave no issues. I would not recommend this hitch to no one....

Fits the puck system in our 2019 GMC Denali 3500 perfectly. Extremely well-made! Virtually no "chucking". Would like the hitch plate leveling spring to be a little stiffer.

great hitch assembly was easy i set up using the holes that made greatest distance from the cab of my truck i have a 2019 gmc 3500 61/2 ft bed i pull a 2012 montana fth wheel after carefully measuring my bed and cab and camper i choose the non slider model no problems plenty of clearence with my set up great hitch

Of all the products I have purchased from E-Trailer, the CURT 5th wheel hitch has been the most disappointing. After installing the unit, I noticed workmanship items that are not consistent with a high quality unit. The legs and main body did not consistently align and there is excessive chucking (in my opinion) that occurs while traveling. When I addressed this with CURT, I received no response regarding the misalignment and was told the chucking was within industry standards! Two previous 5th wheel hitches did not "chuck" as this unit does. When I addressed these concerns with E-Trailer and requested a refund, I was informed since the unit had been installed no refund was allowable. I asked how I would hear/feel the chucking w/o installing and got no viable response then as well. I will eventually go with a GenY gooseneck adapter. Do not support CURT, they do not stand behind their products and customer service is pretty much nonexistent!!

Great hitch for the price. Easy to assemble in under 30 minutes. Only complaint is box came a little beat up and it was missing the safety pin that holds the main pin in place, quick trip to the hardware store and $2.10 later problem fixed.

Install was easy and the hitch performs perfectly. I have ZERO complaints. Even a year later, it performs great.

This coupled with my Reese sidewinder works wonders on my 16 Ram3500 with rambox. Excellent hitch from Curt, price was good, shipping on time, box damaged but nothing wrong with hitch. Excellent.

This can be easily put together and installed by one person. I had to put the base into the universal rails loosely and then torque the bolts to spec. This hitch was an upgrade.from the autoslide hitch I originally purchased for my 5th wheel. The noise and banging has disappeared. This hitch was well worth the money. I also purchased the custom fit wedge for my pinbox. I don't believe I could be any happier with this hitch.
