The plug is different from original cord. Doesn’t look as good but we’ll see how it works. 1st new cord

I bought this with the Hopkins receiver for the truck side. They work great together. Makes a nice tight connection that works great. The help I got at Etrailer is top notch from answering my questions to tracking my package. I would buy again from them.

I've had this in use for over a year and they don't build them like they use to. I use this on a gooseneck trailer and the piece of plastic behind the spade connector for the clearance lights and brakes has melted, allowing the spade connector to lose contact with the plug on the pickup. So the lights would cut off in the middle of the night and would have to wiggle the connection till I could fix it. I have an older Hopkins plug and never had this problem. To fix the problem I ended up putting pieces of thin copper wire behind the spade and have done it twice since the plastic melted a 2nd time and once again the trailer clearance lights would quit working. Attached are before and after pictures.

Customer service was great, I called for help connecting the 7-way and they walked me through it. Shipping could be better

I received a 5' cable, not a 6' one. Which really upsets me as it pretty much means I can not use the EZ Connector Pogo Trailer Cable Holder I also purchased to hold the cable up out of the way of the pivoting hitch. Other then that, the connector is molded on, so that is good.

The quality of the materials for this wire connector is very high, especially the insulation on the wires. One thing to note is the wire colors do not match the standard colors associated with this style of 7-Way plug. Definitely use a continuity tester to determine which wire goes to which blade in the plug. Other than that, this is a good product for the price.

The bargman 7 way moulded trailer end is a high quality unit. I have been using it for a year now and it has performed flawlessly. The sturdy moulded plug ensures no moisture can get inside. Both the insulation of the individual wires and also the outer sheath are made of silicone and remain flexible even at canadian winter temperatures. There is just one way I think the unit could be improved. The outer blue silicone coating is thin, and not very abrasion resistant. If it contacts the grouns at all, it will quickly wear through. Just a little thicker sheath would be nice. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, and would certainly purchase again

2 things. 1st@: I think there should be an option to pick tinned wire. 2nd: The ring terminal for the ground needs to be bigger.

Perfect adapter for pulling a hayride trailer!

I received this item in a plastic bag, for a few moments i wondered if it was a knock-off. I had done my home work and was sure that this item would be compatible with the socket on my John Deere 2013 5085M at the time I ordered it, not so. The 'holding ridge' at the plug-in end was not in the right position when fully inserted into the plug on the tractor. I sent multiple pictures to Pollack Technical Support but they were unable to assist me. I finally modified the item myself (something I really hate to do) so that it would fit the plug-in and be 'grasped' by the cover/holder on the tractor side. As I anticipated, the thickness of the plastic was inadequate to make the adaptation 'sweet', so I had to cover the resulting hole with silicone caulk.

Just what I needed for my home-built bike carrier. My wife rides an e-tricycle and by the time I loaded the trike and a couple of bikes on this platform, you could not see the car's taillights or blinkers. This harness worked perfectly!

Used this to rewire a 6 x 10 trailer. Inserted the wire through 3 feet of metal conduit to keep it from being damaged near the coupling. So now the only exposed wire is the ¼ inch right at the connector.

Works, exact fit, high quality, coils tight so max of about 3.5’ perfect! Heavy duty wiring, great waterproof connections.

I rewired my light bar for my boat trailer with the items I purchased. Before I built the the light bar, every time I used my boat trailer I would waste valuable sailing or fishing time repairing faulty lights. The do not last long when you submerge them in salt water. This light bar now version 3.0 have given little trouble over the years

The wire colors are not correct for their functions. I thought I was going crazy, until I got out my test light and continuity tester. The LEDs on the plug are correct, but the corresponding wires are not. White (ground), Black (12v power), and Blue (E-brakes), were the only three that were correct, all 4 other colors were totally wrong for the function location. I had to continuity trace each one in order to determine what it should be hooked up to. The quality of the plug and wire seems great, but the wrong color wires are in the wrong locations on the trailer plug.

This led trailer connector is the best... Always know what's working and what's not.

My farm equipment is wired with a 7 pin round pole connector and my Ford pickup is a 7 pin blade connector. When I move my hay rake and hay baler on the road the lights now work on the back pf the equipment for the motorist behind. I like it!

This adapter is all I need to make testing of trailer light and brakes installed with 7pin round connector a quick and easy job. Product is well build.. Price was good and shipping was great..

Of all the ones like this that they had on their site, I think I picked the best. This thing is excellent! Does just the trick. Good quality construction materials assembled into a solid product. Connection fits were snug as you would want. The time from order to delivery was shorter than they projected too! Very, very happy with this.

The adaptor did the trick. My friend had an older and different style connector on his older truck, so he put the mating connector on his trailer. His truck was down and we needed the adaptor to connect the trailer to my newer GMC to use the construction dumping trailer.

I've installed a LOT of wiring harnesses on trailers, made pigtails for the truck to trailer and am generally happy with Hopkins quality products. BUT I am not happy that this pigtail uses colors for the wires that are NOT universally standard. IF I had hooked this up by the proper color code, it would not have worked. IF there had been a color code provided with the cable it would have been an easier installation. As it was I had to wring out each one separately. On a positive note, the LEDs are a nice touch.

Works great for converting to my small trailer. Everytime i use it, it works. Held up like a champ with hundreds of trimes plugging in and unplugging. Loaned to family a few times and they asked where I bought it so they now shop here too.

Handy with indicator lights. Added backup lights on a small trailer so needed 5 conductor. This also accepts a flat 4 trailer, fifth spot just not used, so this replaces a couple adaptors I have.

I needed a different length adapter to connect trailer to new truck. This one fit perfectly. High quality; all pins make secure connection.

Was what I ordered, shipping was good. Spring on cover would not hold cover down. Had to take apart and bend spring.

This adapter really cleaned up the installation and connected directly to the wiring harness. Maybe added an additional 20 mins to install this adapter but totally worth the time and money.

Looks well made and what I like most and why I bought this one was because of the newer style plug that comes in it. I have yet to test it out but I got it wired up.

Well, my first impression of this item is it is very sturdy and will be a great addition to my trailer.
