Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks - 24" Lift - 13,000 lbs - Qty 2
if I had to rate this upgrade in difficulty one being the easiest five being the hardest, it would be a one. Super simple. Take the nuts and bolts off your old hardware and install the upgrade in its place. I read some of the reviews were people were annoyed with the counter clockwise rotation and the bolt sticking out too far. I really didn’t see a problem with either. I know you’re not supposed to use a drill to extend and retract these but I always have. I suppose as long as you’re not torquing the heck out of the adjustment screw you shouldn’t have any problems. I always put a small flat 2 x 6 piece of wood under the foot of each one of these. It seems to add quite a bit of stability.
The jacks themselves have worked great, they keep the trailer level and solid during our concession events. I just had them mounted to the trailer so I don't have to put them in and out at each event. The jack handles leave a bit to be desired so I use a 20v drill w/ a 3/4" socket to run them up and down.

Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 24" Lift - 3,500 lbs - White
Order Thurs, delivered Sat 2 days ahead of schedule. Box in good condition. All parts present. Instructions clear. Replaced 3 yr old jack (locked up). Found lower price by $20 on Amazon, chose etrailer instead for the videos and hometown presales customer service people like Kimberly. Worth the extra. Can't always be about the green. Made sure to scrape paint of all surfaces as per instructions for the ground. Installed day of receipt and works great. Looking forward to the 1, 2 and 3 year hopefully positive reviews.
Put this jack on the trailer tongue in less than an hour. Moves the tongue of a 29' 6500 lb travel trailer up and down easily. I did not find it particularly slow. Install tips: I used a two ton bottle jack and static jack stand to support the tongue while working. Check trailer negative grounding with a voltage tester, just to be sure you get a good circuit. I attached power cord via fuse directly to positive battery terminal and stowed the extra wire/fuse in the battery box. (My trailer has a power line and blade-fuse from the trailer's junction box for the previous jack but it had an occasional short so I didn't use it. If your trailer has a dependable powerline for a jack, use it.) I'm putting a 10L dry-sack over the powerhead to keep out rain, road dirt and bugs. An extra layer of protection never hurts. I hope this holds up better than the factory installed L*****t. I'll write a follow up review in a year or so. And as always, thanks etrailer for great service, great prices, and fast shipping.

These work well as advertised. It was as easy fit and direct replacement for my existing ones that had seen better days from the previous owners.
I upgraded my '98 sportsmen from tripod stands to these scissor jacks.Setting up is so much easier now. The jacks are very sturdy, fairly priced and were easy to install.
