Designed specifically for vehicles with heavy-duty frames, MX series brackets install onto your towed vehicle's frame to provide attachment points for motor-home-mounted tow bars. Front arms are easily removable when not in use.

Note: MX base plates will work only with the Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch, such as the Sterling, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon and Falcon 2. The MX base plates will not work with tow bars that require a hitch ball.
MX Series brackets do not require a crossbar because of the heavy-duty nature of your vehicle's frame. Thus, installation is simplified, the hookup process is faster, and the total appearance is enhanced.
Note: The EZ Hook safety cables included with Roadmaster's Sterling tow bars will not work with MX series base plates. These cables connect to an anchor plate on the Quick Disconnect crossbar, which will not be present when you are using MX base plates.
The drawbars, or front arms, on the MX series base plate kit are simple to mount and remove, easily securing with pins. Once the drawbars have been removed, the remaining brackets are virtually invisible. On most vehicles, the brackets are mounted within the grille, where they remain not only unseen, but protected from scrapes and scuffs as well.

The roadmaster base plate is high quality, has good directions and is easy to install. This was the ninth install i've done. The purchase was easy and delivery was as promised
Fit was great, easily bolted right in and had no problems with the install. Total install time was just under 3 hours start to finish (spent most of the time trimming the plastic air dam).
The item was delivered on time. The two hour installation time has run over seven hours and I am not through yet. If you don't have all the correct tools, don't try to install this base plate yourself. Also the receivers did not fit my 2011 Jeep Wrangler frame. I had to find 1/8th inch thick spacers for both sides

Product is good, but I had to fabricate a shim for the passenger side. Driver side has a plate for the pump on a 2013 Wrangler. Minor issue, but a shim should have been included.
I bought the Roadmaster Jeep Wrangler tow brackets, and received them within 2 days! They have always been prompt and accurate.

everthing looks great!!! what would be nice to have the cut out pattern of the rock panel and the wire to wrap the bolts.
Very easy to install ,myself and a friend installed brackets in about a hour and a half. Main thing is to have the right tools ,drill 3 holes 18 and 19 mm sockets and screw driver a must

Really fast delivery and very easy instructions. If there is a video, it is really easy to install. This was my second purchase and install, the other one was for a 2012 Chevy Equinox.

This base plate was easy to install. This base plate is very well built and fit perfectly. The only modifications we had to make was to the plastic fasicia. This is a great product.
Good quality product, very easy to install, good instructions and video instructions online. It took me about 2 hours to install on my 2010 Equinox. I highly recommend this product for the DIY person. All holes lined up no jerry rigging, Best of all it was made in the USA.
