Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this Blue Ox replacement RF controller. This is going to replace the RF controller for your Blue Ox Patriot supplemental braking system. And on your screen, I am including the item numbers of the systems that this is going to work with. This is going to work with the Patriot II and the Patriot 3.
And this is the replacement from Blue Ox so this is going to be just like the original that you are needing to replace. Whether you happened to misplace it or it became damaged, this is going to work just like your original and it's gonna work with the Patriot II and the Patriot 3. The brake system I bought didn’t come with a RF controller so I purchased this one from trailer. It is so nice to be able to control and adjust the brake unit remotely. Works as expected with no issues. Using on a 30’ Jayco motorhome pulling our 4 door Jeep.
Works most of the time but all too frequently will lose contact with braking unit. It usually will reestablish contact within a minute or so but it does not inspire confidence in the system.

Wish the old one didn't fail but new one works great.
Pair code with the bkr2016 and now working great.
