Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our bulletproof hitch with a two-ball ball-mount option adjustable and made for a two-and-a-half by two-and-a-half inch shank with a nice offset and it's rated at 14,000 pounds gross towing weight. So folks, this nice two-ball mount lets you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle or possibly different vehicles over time. It simply slides into the two-and-a-half by-two-and-a-half inch receiver tube on your vehicle and it's gonna provide a nice connection point up here at the ball for the trailer. Now the adjustable heights here, to let you go up and down with some options. It's got six different mounting options available, keep in mind two holes per adjustment.
And the off-set design is gonna allow you to drop or rise without having to need to flip over the ball mount necessarily all the time. Now you should be able to fold down your vehicle's tailgate with this on as well and it's been made of a nice heavy duty thick steel construction, the channel here is a quarter inch thick while the gussets on the top and bottom are three eighths of an inch thick welded together on the back plate and they're gonna brace that and make it super strong. Now you can simply switch balls by taking the pins out and flipping the ball head over. Those pins are made with a nickel undercoat and zinc top coat to help resist corrosion and ensure strength over time. All the rest of everything's been heat-treated as well with the matte black power cover finish and that's gonna resist corrosion and all that kind of stuff as well.
The whole ball mount has been SAE J684 certified and it's gonna be ideal for vehicles between 20 to 21 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of your hitch receiver tube on the vehicle to the ground. It's a very nice product folks, again, nice heavy duty steel. Another thing to point out is the five eighth inch hitch pin holes. There is no hitch pin included or a clip, that is sold separately. I highly recommend you purchase or invest in a locking hitch to protect your investment.
As far as some dimensions, I'll throw up a graphic real quick and I'll also give you some dimensions here in a second on the item itself, but I wanna throw that up there in case you need it, the the image should be on our site page and also you could also pause the video this way and get any kind of intricate or special dimension you might need off of that. So I hope that helps you. Nice lifetime warranty. Now let's get to some dimensions here. Again, before I get dimensions, two and five 16th inch ball right now on top, that's rated at 14,000 pounds.
The two inch on the bottom's rated at 10,000 pounds. The whole thing has a tongue weight rating of 2000 pounds. So the distance from the closest hitch center hitch pin hole to the center of the ball is right at 11 inches, and if you go to the outside or farthest hitch pin hole center to the center of the top of the ball, it's 12 and a half inches. The overall height is right at 14 inches overall and the total length with the ball installed all the way out to the front here is right at 15-and-a-half inches long. Now the pinhole closest to the gusset to these gusset plates from here to here is right at five inches and the farthest one away is six-and-a-half inches to the gusset plate. So those measurements are crucial if you have clearance and that kind of stuff you need to worry about. Just double check that photo as well, I put up there on the screen earlier. The total thing's pretty light, about 30, 31 pounds. Nice lifetime warranty from the manufacturer. Limited lifetime warranty. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look today at this bulletproof hitch with the two-ball option on the offset ball mount for a two-and-a-half by two-and-a-half inch hitch receiver tube. I'm Steven, thanks for your time. Thanks for watching and as always, stay safe out there when you're towin'.
Very heavy duty and ONLY one rated to 36K and made in the U.S.A that means a lot to me.
