Let's take a real quick look at this Andersen aluminum rapid hitch with greaseless aluminum ball two ball mount for your two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this lightweight yet tough aluminum adjustable ball mount is designed for heavy duty towing. The greaseless AlumiBall is going to keep things smooth and mess free. It is made to stay smooth and easy to use, so you're gonna spend less time cleaning and more time towing. Again, this is made for your two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver and the mount is built for heavy duty towing.
So this is gonna be ideal for boat trailers, campers, or heavy duty trailers. And it does come with these two balls. You're gonna get your two and 5/16 inch and your two inch balls with this combo ball unit. So you're gonna be able to easily switch between trailers that require different ball sizes. When you use the two and 5/16 inch ball, the gross towing weight is going to be 12,500 pounds.
With the two inch ball, it's gonna be 10,000 pounds. The maximum tongue weight is 1500 pounds and this mount is adjustable, so you're gonna be able to easily raise or lower the ball mount to match the height of your trailer. And again, this is gonna be especially useful if you tow trailers of different types or varying different coupler heights. In this orientation, you're gonna get a maximum drop of about six inches, and then when you flip this over, you're gonna get a maximum rise again of about six inches with an incremental height adjustment of one inch. So as you can see, this is going to easily go up and down the shank.
You're not gonna be struggling at the back of your vehicle to get that height adjustment or ball size that you're looking for. So I'm just flipping this over to the two inch ball. If you notice the combo ball unit is held in place in the platform with a pin there. Then I'm just gonna go ahead and put that back on the shank and see if I can line that up there. So the pins or the pin and the clip rather they very smooth operation.
So everything, there's not gonna be any friction or binding or anything like that. So you're gonna be able to get that measurement or that adjustment rather very easily, very quickly in a matter of seconds really. So this is constructed of high quality aluminum and as you can see it's a polished finish that we have here, silver polished finish. So this is gonna do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion while being strong, yet very lightweight and some measurements that might prove helpful for you. From the center of our ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole, about eight inches to the center of the second hitch pin hole, pretty close to nine and 5/8 inches. So this is gonna be great for truck owners who tow multiple trailers of different heights, those who want a maintenance free hitch with no greasing required. Those who are looking for a lightweight yet strong hitch option, and anyone who frequently tows in harsh weather conditions and looking for something that's gonna be highly resistant to rust and corrosion, it's gonna hold up really well against those really severe weather elements. Great quality and finish!
Practical hitch, good looking
This was the perfect solution for the squatting issue I was having towing my new trailer with my SUV.
This product is really different with the all aluminum design. I wanted some
top rated hitch that won't rust up, even though other steel hitches are usually just experiencing surface rust. It has the numbers for towing I need and I don't know how anything could be improved.
This hitch is second to none! Great American craftsmanship, fits good, great design. And, as usual e-trailer delivery & customer service is fantastic! Thanks.
I like that it's aluminum so it's easy to move around and fast to set up. I got the Andersen locking bolts for security as well. I normally tow a 5th wheel but have an occasional need to tow conventional trailers so got this mount. For those who want to keep it installed, you can't flip around the balls on the inside because the mounting slots are only on the outside. That's not an issue for me because it's removed when not being used. All in all very happy with it
