The Rapid Hitch kit is rated for 8,000 lbs GTW with the 2" ball and 10,000 lbs GTW with the 2-5/16" ball, along with 1,500 lbs tongue weight capacity on the larger ball. Even though it’s rated for heavy loads, this mount is made from strong aluminum alloy that stays light to handle—only about 19 lbs—and looks great over time. The aluminum shank won’t rust like steel can, so you can leave it in the receiver without worrying about corrosion from rain or road grime.
Swapping between coupler sizes doesn’t have to mean carrying extra hardware. The two-sided platform includes a 2" ball on one side and a 2-5/16" ball on the other, both zinc-plated steel for added durability. Just flip it around when you need a different size and secure it with the internal pin that comes with the kit—no tools required.
Adjustable hitches sometimes get a bit of play at the joints, but this design keeps things snug. The CNC-milled aluminum parts fit together cleanly to limit movement at the hitch pin and ball platform. Under load, that tight fit helps dampen any minor rattle so your setup feels steady mile after mile.

Love this Hitch. I haul Heavy Equipment regularly and this has made things much easier to use especially when using different trucks for hauling.
This is a beautifully machined hitch assembly......I hope nobody steals it! Delivery was lickety split and I am very pleased.
Love the design and hitch machining but, I would rather have two separate ball inserts instead of one reversible unit, at the lowest setting it just seems the non used end hangs kinda low.

Was able to use the hitch for the first time this weekend. It was used to tow a BobCat mini excavator, almost 8,000 lbs.
Worked like a charm. Was able to adjust it to level both trailers that I used to deliver and return the excavator.

the hitch works good but in just a few uses the male where it slides into the receiver has already started a wear pattern and crease on the bottom where it rest against the bottom of the receiver on truck. maybe a result of the aluminum not being as strong as the steal.
This is a great product, so light and easy to use. Wish I had known about the pre-coated ball version, as i would have purchased that version, just cleaner than having grease on everything. Still this is by far so much easier than the old metal style receivers!!

Love the hitch, this was perfect for my 2105 F150 to tow a variety of trailers, from small utility trailers to large boats, the adjustment always makes the trailer sit right.
Very handy for alternating between trailers with 2" and 2 5/16' balls along with adjusting drop heights. Also more affordable than others.
Excellent for tundra. solid construction. fast easy adjustment. drop and rise in one without effecting ground clearance much when in the drop setting. easy swap ball size is also great. fairly lightweight given size. multiple hitch pin holes helps.
The hitch is high quality and it's also made in the USA, which is important to me.
I am excited to tow my 6000 Lb. boat with the new hitch, I think it will do quit well.
I will have to buy a pair of locks for the hitch, so it doesn't disappear from the back of my truck. I really appreciate the free shipping, too.
I've been using this hitch regularly and it's amazing. I tow different things and I switch the hight and ball size all the time. It's perfect. No need for owning a lot of different set ups. Just one and it'll work for anything.
Works pretty much as advertised. Had a little issue getting the pin through the balls as it is pretty tight machining tolerances. After that it is just a solid tow hitch solution. Just be sure to put the ball pin with the threads out. I din't pay attention the first time. That ensures you can put a bolt in the threads to pull to remove the pin.
Rugged construction, very adjustable, and easy to adjust. Excellent!!. The lawn trailer needs 3inch drop and the camper needs 3inch rise - this hitch does it all and switching over takes only seconds. Only had for a week so towed just a couple times and only a few miles but perfect so far.
Love the hitch except for 1 thing. It is not capable of stowing. If the reason for that is because it would not be as strong, then it is worth it. If we could maintain strength and still allow it to stow that would be awesome!
I've been using my rapid hitch for almost a year now, and I have to say that I can't find anything really wrong with it. It has virtually eliminated the need to carry multiple mounts around. The adjustability has provided the perfect options for height for everything from utility trailers, boats of all sizes, car trailers and large enclosed snowmobile trailers. An added benefit is that it looks pretty good too.
What do i like about this hitch…i tow trailers requiring both size balls andmits easy to flip this around and adjust tow height. Its lightweight and easy to take on and off when needed. The built in locks keep the hitch on my truck. I like it and recommend it.
Haven't pulled anything with it yet, but overall it appears to be a quality product. There is over .0500 play in the hitch when mounted in the receiver. That will probably make a lot of noise. The adjustment part of the hitch seems pretty good.

Still working great. Have had no issues at all. One to mention though is I dont leave the hitch in when not being used.
I purchased this to replace a Fastway Flash E Series Ball mount that I purchased and returned from another online seller that did not provide enough clearance from my rear bumper in the rise position. My vehicle really needed the extra 5/8ths of an inch of length on the shank of the Rapid Hitch. Clearance was not a problem in the drop position; but with a receiver that's 18-inches off the ground, I need to use the rise position more frequently than many. The other thing I noticed is that this ball mount is feels more substantial than the one from Fastway.
In use, I prefer this to the Andersen EZ hitch I had been borrowing. It looks really cool. It has 5 adjustment positions rather than four and bit more adjustability in either direction. Plus, it still fits in easily in the storage area underneath the floor of my SUV. And did I say it looks really cool. I hated to put grease on the ball before I went to hook up the trailer. Also, I plan to get the lock set. It's looks great on my SUV and seems likely to disappear overnight and look great on someone else's vehicle.

Ive used this ball mount a lot over the last year both in the 2-inch and 2 and 5/16-inch configuration and it has held up very well. There is a small grove in the shaft from my hitch receiver but, otherwise, it still looks almost new. I did ultimately purchase the lock set for those occasions where I would be disconnecting the trailer, I was towing overnight but didnt want to remove the ball mount only to have to put it back on in the morning.

I continue to use this to tow a variety of trailers. It has stood up well and is easy to use. Rubber over locks remains in good shape
